"College Point Shore Front Park"

Wow! All I can say is what a park to go to. I was there and trust me it is beautiful. It was well kept and so peaceful. If you really want to go somewhere that is quiet and serene, this is the place to be.

"Historic Poppenheusen Avenue"

Poppenhusen Avenue is a street that runs through College Point to McNeil Park. The street is named after Conrad Poppenhusen, the founding father and benefactor of College Point. The highlight of Poppenhusen Ave. is McNeil Park. The park has a playground, plenty of green grass and tress for picnics. A waterfront walking, jogging or bicycling path. There is a ballfield and in the winter a great place for sledding!
