"Quick cut through the park"

The 65th Street Transverse is a road that connects the east side to the west side through the park. It is open to cars, so it's not exactly the most scenic pass through the park. And, cars tend to drive pretty quickly through here so it makes it a bit dangerous for a runner. It can be quite loud, too, so it's not ideal. But, it's nice if you need a quick cut from one side to the other. It also makes entrance into the park easy and allows for a vantage park as the park can be really confusing if you don't know it well. The east side of 65th transverse is where the opening to the zoo and petting zoo is so it's pretty popular with little kids.

"Great for recreation, view of the park"

This street is pretty diverse. It cuts right through Central Park (hence the “transverse” part of its name), and offers everything from hiking to softball fields. This street does not double as a jogging path, though, as it is a functioning road for traffic to get from one side of the city to the other.

"Transverse this Road with caution!"

65th Transverse Rd. allows entrance from the city itself into and accross the Park. There are several such roads in Central Park as the Park is simply massive! Quickly cross over to the West side or slowly enjoy the people and scenery. This street may even pass the Central Park Zoo if I am not mistaken. Travel with care as there are often police cars, scooters, horses, and bikes all rushing and stopping throught the paved areas of the park. There are some lanes and areas closed to cars or bikes and some areas that are reserved for bikes and or joggers so pay attention to the lines on the road!

"On 65th Street"

This section of Brooklyn wasn’t the prettiest in the neighborhood, nor was the it most dynamic. There’s really not much to offer in the way of nightlife fun on this street, and there were small businesses were simply that- offering services to people who reside in the community. I liked the calmness of the street, though the nearby streets did offer some noise. All in all, I don’t think I would choose to live here if I were moving to Brooklyn and I wouldn’t suggest you go there yourself to find out.
