Is Laurelton a safe place to raise an interacial family?

Is Laurelton safe, and why are the houses so cheap? If it's a good area for families why is it so inexpensive to live?

Hi

Yes I believe Laurelton to be a great place to raise an interracial family. However, I find houses to be quite pricey there. What source are you using the view the homes in that area? Laurelton as well as Cambria Heights are well within the 400k range and up. You may find something cheaper but it will more than likely be a short sale, a foreclosure, or a fixer-upper. SOme of these sites that show houses for sales falsify ad's. For e.g. Trulia. They'll post up a house that may not even be for sale just to get your attention to bring in more clientele for them. I find zillow to be more accurate when it comes to the price of homes in that area.
