NYC gets a digital officer

Just read that NYC has now got a digital officer- Rachel Sterne who is going to use Twitter and Facebook to reach out to fellow New Yorkers and for that she is going to be paid a six figures... thoughts?

What! No wonder this city is going broke. Bloomberg is getting desperate. He knows the city is near bankruptcy. So he is pulling out all the stops he needs in order to get people to come here, so he can take their hard-earned money. No wonder my girlfriend keeps yelling that she is leaving this place. She told me she's had it. I can understand why.

I hate when arcane bureaucracies have the bright idea to dust themselves off and enter the modern age, and end up pissing away a huge budget on something as ill conceived as this.
