Half of Poland's Government Dead

You guys see the plane crash in Poland on the news? It was half the gov't including the President and his wife. One of my best friends in the city is from Warsaw and she is pretty devastated. I was talking to her about it, and, apparently, the governmental planes have been desperately needing an upgrade for some time now. The president was supposed to take a different plane but it needed repairs (wtf?) so they got on a jankier one. So senseless. How awful that they would just put all of these people on something that goes 10,000 feet in the air not knowing if it's actually capable of making the flight.
