What about Caroline Kennedy?

So what does everyone thing about Caroline being appointed to the Senate to fill Hillary's seat? After all, she is really a New Yorker. But likely a bit out of touch with upstate, but what else is new?

Or would we rather see someone who has been around for a while, like Nita Lowery? And what about Andrew Cuomo?

The irony to me is that Caroline did not support Hillary for the nomination, she supported Obama. I think she'd be a good choice, but I wonder about all those other people who would be overlooked.

What do you think?

Yeah cinnamon, that is certainly true!

I just wonder how many talented people get overlooked in the drive to have a name as the candidate. That was my problem with Hilary - she moved to NY specifically to qualify to run for senate. But who was overlooked?

As it is, Caroline will have to win over the upstate folks. And the unions. And the folks who would like to see Cuomo. I think she has a bit of a political battle on her hands. But I think she might actually be good at being a senator, given the work she has done with non profits and schools.

Oh well time will tell, here is hoping that whoever does eventually represent NY does a good job for the people that they represent and not just for their own ego.

She's not going to do it. All that attention, and now she decides to withdraw.

Wonder what this does to Cuomo. And same thing I wondered with Clinton- what is the impact of these high profile folks getting attention, when the rest of the talent just keeps doing the job.....
