"Beauty Marks the Spot"

River Terrace stretches from Vesey St to Chambers St. It rides along the Hudson River. On one side is a row of apartment buildings and some commercial establishments. But on the other side, it is quite different. Wow, is all I can say. The entire stretch of land is beautiful. It looks like an endless park. There are places where you can walk in the park and sit where you want. You can enjoy a nice view of the river. What a peaceful place. Traffic flow is minimal, so you can actually enjoy piece and quiet. Of course, the quietness you seek will depend on the time of day. During the summer time kids are out and about. But during the day in the fall and winter, you can find quiet time for yourself.

It is definitely worth the time to go there.
Pros
  • Beautiful looking area
  • Get plenty of exercise walking around
Cons
  • Too many kids around during summer
  • Too many people at times
