"Close to Georgia Tech and great restaurants!"

Check out all the restaurants, activities, events and culture that is flourishing in Five Points Atlanta on Spring Street Northwest. There is always something to do and new restaurants to explore. Please your palate at places like Nan Thai Fine Dining and Dolce Enoteca Y Ristorante. You can also stay at the Four Seasons or catch a game at nearby Bobby Dodd Stadium. Spring Street Northwest is rich with tradition, historic landmarks and many of Atlanta's attractions.

"There is a little bit of everything on Memorial Drive SE"

Memorial Drive Southeast runs east to west through the city and through a variety of Atlanta's distinct neighborhoods. The east side is more residential and the west end is part of the bustling city. You can visit Atlanta's Historic Oakland Cemetery is on Memorial Drive Southeast or head into Downtown Atlanta's Five Points neighborhood. A popular destination on this street is the Atlantic Shopping Center where you can dance the night away to Hip Hop and Reggae at Esso Night Club.

"Great place to book a hotel in Atlanta or go out for drinks"

Running parallel to Atlanta's infamous Peachtree Street, Peachtree Center Avenue is right in the middle of midtown Atlanta. You can find restaurants like the Hard Rock Cafe and elegant hotel restaurants and bars with outdoor patio seating. The Ritz Carlton's Lumen is a pretty popular lounge area on this street. It's a great street to find a nice upscale eatery or stay while visiting Atlanta. Peachtree Center Avenue also leads into Peachtree St NE near Emory Univeristy Hospital.

"Great entertainment, but not so great bums!"

This street is located near the funky and chic Little Five Points area of Atlanta. The streets has a few coffee shops and fast food restaurants frequented by local students and hipsters. The neighborhood is pretty safe and clean during the day, but it gets a little ghetto at night. There is a new homeless community that likes to hang around in this area that visitors should be aware of.

"Never a dull moment on Marietta Street"

Marietta Street runs north to south through the city. The north end is mostly a highway that runs alongside Georgia Tech. This south side is sprinkled with boutiques, hotels and restaurants like Spoon and Thrive. It’s always buzzing with excitement and never empty no matter how late or early it is. The street is traffic heavy and parking is very limited.

"The best of both worlds!"

Western Ave NW has the best of both worlds. The street is fairly quiet and tucked away to the west of the Northside Drive highway. The homes and apartments on this street are fairly new and the street is clean. The street looks like a typical Georgia suburb, but it's just minutes away from Georgia Tech, the aquarium and downtown Atlanta. The only negative is living so close to the highway.

"Trendy Park West St near the San Diego Zoo"

2nd Ave runs through San Diego's Park West, Cortez and Core-Columbia neighborhoods. The northern park of 2nd Ave is close to attractions like the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. The street ends at the Marston Mall Shopping Center. Victorian homes, sleek high rise buildings and businesses line trendy 2nd Ave.

"Home to the Urban Art Trail"

F St is located in San Diego's hip East Village. It is home to young urban professionals, hipsters and San Diego's artist community. The Urban Art Trail runs along E and F streets. There are a lot of dive bars, cafes and lofts and studio apartments on F St. It's right in the downtown area and close to the Arts College International, New School of Architecture and Garfield High.

"Part of San Diego's Little Italy neighborhood"

I love visiting San Diego's Little Italy every time I am in town. There are so many stores and restaurants to try out. You can find antiques, visit art galleries, explore gift shops and check out the seasonal street festivals. Kids Trick or Treat in LIttle Italy each year and Mission Federal ArtWalk is held every year in April. I highly recommend checking out West Cedar Street if you're in town. It's a great place to live too. There are a few public parking lots in the area and renovated apartment complexes on West Cedar.

"Modern, clean and close to the beach!"

West A St is just south of San Diego's LIttle Italy. This street is lined with high rises and leads to the 163 Freeway and San Diego City College as it becomes A St. It ends right at the McClintock Plaza Shopping Center and doesn't go all the way through to the beach if you're heading west. It would be an ideal place to live because it's close to major shopping areas, restaurants, hotels and the Broadway Pier.

"Cool downtown street that is close to museums and the pier!"

West Ash Street runs parallel to Beech St and A St and ends at Harbor Drive. It is close to every Downtown convenience imaginable. It also runs through the McClintock Shopping Center and is in close proximity to some of the nicest downtown hotels. Union Station, the Maritime Museum and the Aircraft Carrier Museum are just a few attractions. The best part of West Ash Street is that it is close to the Broadway Pier. There is always something to do in this hip part of town.

"Gorgeous shopping village"

Station Village Way has this exciting energy about it. People spend their days shopping and strolling down this palm tree lined street. It is like a tiny oasis in San Diego. There are apartment complexes, restaurants like Wahoo's Fish Tacos and the Promenade Rio Vista all on this street. Station Village Way is home to the Rio Vista Station and it has a beautiful water fountain right in the center of everything.

"Right in the heart of San Diego's major attractions"

Hancock St is located right near the San Diego Sports Arena and a huge shopping plaza. It's a few minutes away from Seaworld and is accessible by the 5 freeway and the San Diego Old Town Amtrak station. The street isn't very attractive and there are a bunch of factories alongside it. "Convenient location, but not much night life"

This major road is lined with apartment complexes, a Starbucks, hotels and a few chain restaurants. It leads into a shopping center past the 56 Freeway. It's easy top hop on the 56 and take a quick drive to Del Mar and it's beaches. The only negative is that the night life isn't really happening in this part of San Diego. There aren't that many cool clubs in this part of town.

"Residential street full of college students"

I wouldn't recommend this street unless you are a college student. A lot of UC San Diego students live in the apartment complexes on this street. The parking can get pretty crazy on the weekends. It's a great place to live if you want to be close to the campus and all of its perks. The beach, parks and the Underwater Park is nearby. There are a bunch of restaurants in the area and it's a pretty safe street.

"Noisy street near the Naval Air Station"

This Tierrasanta neighborhood street is very clean and has easy access to shopping. The Vons supermarket is right down the street and the I-15 is a five minute drive away. The only problem with this street is that it's located right near the naval air station. It can be very loud and noisy at times. One perk that makes up for it is the beautiful hiking trails in the Mission Trails regional park. It's a great way to get some scenic views of the San Diego area.

"Very friendly neighbors and an awesome deli on the corner!"

The best thing about Hillcrest ave is that it is really close to all of the shops on Amboy Rd. Amboy is always busy, full of people and sometimes has bad traffic, but Hillcrest is so mellow and only gets busy when the elementary students go to school in the morning. I love Christina's Deli on the corner of Seely Ln and Hillcrest. It's such a random spot for a deli, but really convenient. I would always stop to buy a soda on my way to the the shops on Amboy. Hillcrest Ave has it all because it's close to the hustle and bustle, but yet it's almost hidden and peaceful.

"Love the neighborhood, but the parkway can be a little scary at night."

The homes on Grantwood Ave are beautiful. They are simply gorgeous. I would almost say that this is the best street to live on in the South Shore except for one thing that makes this street a little unappealing. The intersection of Grantwood Ave and Drumgoole Rd just makes it less appealing. It's very scary to walk here at night and since it's right near the parkway, there is always litter here.

"The street that circles around the College of Staten Island."

Loop Rd is this crazy loopy road around the College of Staten Island. It's between the college and Willowbrook Park. The drive is very pretty down this street. It is so green and lush. This street is a narrow two lane road that will take you to the college's parking lot and you can't really walk down this street.

"Great cafes and really close to the Ferry."

Benzinger Ave is pretty busy in the morning because of PS 31 near by on Layton Ave. It's pretty quiet during the day, but there is a lot of traffic in the area after school gets out. The neighborhood is pretty safe and PS 31 is a really great school. The street is on a huge hill and it's fun and dangerous to skate down here! This is a great street to live on because it is so close to the ferry and there are a bunch of great cafes and deli spots in the area. Fort Place Deli is one of the best spots to eat on the island and it's right around the corner.

"New beautiful homes right near the Staten Island Mall!"

Purdue Street has very nice looking duplexes on it. The lawns are all manicured and the people on this street are pretty friendly. One of the perks of living on Purdue Street is that it is located within walking distance to the Staten Island Mall. It's hard to find parking on this street, but there are tons of shops and things to do right around the corner on Richmond Hill. Dunkin Donuts is within walking distance too! You gotta love that.

Kelly Blvd is right smack in the middle of Staten Island. The homes on this street are beautiful and this street is right between three parks. Healthy Body is a great chiropractor and the street is pretty quiet.

"Busy and beautiful convention center street."

The Anaheim Convention Center has stunning architecture. This street is always full of people who are attending some sort of convention. The street is pretty clean, but Anaheim's homeless frequent this street because they like to score a freebie from convention promoters who pass out free T-shirts, drinks or food. I wouldn't walk down this street at night though since it's less busy and seems desolate.

"Huge indoor swapmeet on this street!"

This major street is always busy. You won't see too many pedestrians since everyone in California always drives. The street is pretty clean and runs through the safe areas of Anaheim. The Anaheim Marketplace is located on this street near Cerritos Ave. It's always busy and super crowded. You can spend a whole day at that indoor swapmeet. They also have carnivals and community events. This street is also near the 5 freeway and close to Disneyland.

"A very beautiful street that is home to Tavern On the Green."

Most people think the upper west side is quite boring, but there is a lot to do on this street. This street is in the middle of Amsterdam Ave and central park west. You can walk to Central Park in less than ten minutes and Tavern On the Green is right down the block. There are many luxurious apartment buildings on this street. They seem to be nicer the closer they are to Central Park. Nick and Toni's Cafe is on W 67th and they have the best thin crust chicken pizza! This street is very safe and a great place to live.

"Cool street on the lower east side!"

The bars and clubs on the lower east side are the best places to party in New York City. There are a few haunts on Essex that are amazing. I highly recommend Mason Dixon at 133 Essex St. They have a mechanical bull! I would always stop on by the Essex Restaurant for brunch the morning after a night of partying to get something to eat. This street also bisects Canal St in Chinatown. There are so many places to see on this street, but my favorite part of Essex is between Delancey St and Rivington St.

"NYU student housing close to Washington Square Park"

This street is the place to live if you go to NYU. My friend went to NYU and had an apartment on this street. This street runs between Washington Square Park and Union Square. "A street in Stuyvesant Town!"

20th St Loop is part of Stuyvesant Town. The loop streets all share a park and the apartments in this complex are pretty spacious. I knew a few people who lived there and it a pretty cool place to live, but many residents complained about the rat issue that wasn't under control on this street. They are always doing construction on this street so it's really hard for the residents to park in their garages. This complex is very close to some cool bars and great shopping areas.

"This street isn't that nice near Queens Blvd."

50th St has a really cool park at 39th St intersection in Woodside. The brick apartment buildings are a pretty nice place to live. 50th St and Queens Blvd has some interesting architecture, but that side of this street isn't as nice. "This street goes half way through all of Queens."

Queens Blvd is a major road that will take you from the Queensboro Bridge and to La Guardia Airport. It goes half way across Queens to Jamaica. This street can get a little ghetto, but it depends on what neighborhood you're in.

"Awesome Greek culture and so close to the city."

Ditmars Blvd is just a twenty minute train ride away from all the cool parts of Manhattan. I like this block because of the good Greek food you can get in Astoria. West Queens is pretty much home to younger people who can't really afford to live in manhattan and immigrants. This street reflects that with the shops in the area. The apartments on this street are starting to get a little more expensive now that Astoria isn't as dangerous as it once was.

"This Hunters Point street is improving!"

Hunters Point has a bad reputation for being very scary and pretty ghetto. This street is now improving and becoming trendy. It is only one train stop away from Manhattan and new blood is flocking to this street. New apartment renovations are making this street a premier block because of the river views. There are some really good restaurants on this street, but some areas can be a little industrial and unsafe to walk alone at night.

"Busy major street that"

This major road is always full of people waiting at the bus stops. This bus route is one of the most crowded routes in New York. I have always been smashed on this bus because so many people put their luggage everywhere on the bus while trying to get to La Guardia Airport. This street reminds me of parts of the Bronx because it’s a little dirty and the people are a little poor. The area is pretty safe though. You can catch the 7 train on this street or go shopping at the Rego Park Shopping Center.

"This street feels unsafe near Atlantic Avenue!"

Snediker Ave is really close to East NY Brooklyn and it just feels all sorts of unsafe. This street is quite long and the southern parts of it are okay. There are some low income housing projects in this area and I've seen a few shady people just hanging around. There is a homeless shelter on this street and some people are trying to rebuild their lives, but others just make it seem ghetto and scary.

"Cool industrial area with great bars and clubs"

Some of the best indie bands play shows and frequent this street because of the clubs and bars. I have seen Devendra Banhart at the East River Baron this street. "A busy street next to Kings Plaza."

This street is a major road next to a large shopping plaza. Everyone comes here on the weekend for shopping and entertainment. "Awesome Coney Island atmosphere."

This street is crowded and busy in the summer time when people are trying to get to the beach or to Coney Island. You can smell the hotdogs and cotton candy in the air and you hear the Reggaeton music from the bumper card rides. The atmosphere on this street is amazing. People are just there to have a good time and you just feel happy on this street. I think it’s because they are relieved to finally get off the train from the long ride from the city.

"A great view of the Williamsburg Bridge!"

This street doesn’t have much going on and can be pretty scary to walk on late at night, but this is the best place to see the Williamsburg Bridge at night. "Main midtown street with relaxing restaurants along the way."

I highly recommend taking a drive down Juniper St if visiting Atlanta. You just get this really great souther vibe from this street. You must stop by Einsteins' to have dinner outside under their large and relaxing trees. They even have dessert served in beakers over dry ice! It feels like you're eating at a friend's house. The street is always busy since it is a major artery for midtown. The only thing that isn't so great is all of the construction going on since they're building new apartment complexes.

"A pleasant hidden street for creative students."

Lambert Dr NE is very hidden and far away from most of the fun areas of Atlanta, but it is home to some of the most creative people in town. The Creative Circus school is right on this street and some of the art work that those students create is just stunning. Their facility looks quite drab and boring on the outside, but looks very modern on the inside. This is a huge contrast compared to Lambert Dr. The street has a few small trees along the road and while driving down this dead end you feel like you're in the backwoods of the south.

"Great night life in Atlanta on this street!"

This street is pulsating with amazing energy on show nights at the Tabernacle. I just love the venue so much and have so many memories of seeing concerts there that I adore this street. You'll usually see a lot of concert goers lining up around the block or scalpers trying to sell their tickets on the street. Local radio station promoters also fill the streets and give out prizes to people in line. It's just chaos, but a lot of fun. This street is quite busy and full of traffic around the hotels in the area. There are mainly people from the ages of 18 to early 30s in this area.

This street is right in the middle of downtown Atlanta and the MARTA stops in this area. The best part about this street is that you are located within a five minute walk to really great diners and clubs. The aquarium is just around the corner and parks are also within walking distance.

"Very hip and trendy shopping area in Atlanta."

This street is part of Atlanta's Little Five Points shopping area. It's a funky and very cool street to visit. The cafes on this street are owned by really friendly people. You can spend an entire afternoon shopping on this one street. You can also take the MARTA to Little Five Points so you don't have to spend time circling the block to find parking. This is definitely one of Atlanta's highlights.

"Very busy main street and home to the famous Pinks Hot Dogs."

I frequent this street on my daily commute to Hollywood and always see a long line of people who come from all over the city who wait for over half an hour for a hot dog at Pinks Hot Dog on La Brea. The other famous landmark on this street is the La Brea tar pits on La Brea and Wilshire Blvd. The street smells like tar, but is a major tourist attraction and a frequent elementary school field trip location. This street is always busy and not all that clean, but it's decent compared to other parts of town.

"Great food and entertainment!"

If you want to see a bargain movie then check out Regency theatre on Fairfax and Melrose. You can watch some great indie and midnight movies for only $4 before 6 p.m. The theatre is right across the street from CBS. They film The Price is Right there and you'll always see a line of contestants waiting to get in. A little further down the street is Farmer's Market and The Grove. There is so much to do on Fairfax and you'll see the occasional tourist bus parked at Farmer's Market.

"A central street that was part of Route 66."

Figueroa St is very busy during the day and is full of film crews in the downtown L.A. area. There is always some filming happening on this street. I've stayed at the Marriott Hotel on Figueroa and 3rd St. There are just high rises and nothing to really do in that area since it's in the Financial District, but there are some great places to shop near Figueroa and 7th St. This street runs north and south through Los Angeles and goes all the way to Pasadena.

"Nice coffee shops, bars and clubs close to Hollywood."

This street is really close to the heart of Hollywood. There are cool record stores and clothing stores around this area. Many teens walk up and down this street to get to Amoeba Records to buy music. Celebrities frequent the coffee shops and clubs on this street. I've seen Hilary Duff walking on this street a few times. There is usually a lot of traffic in this area because of all of the shopping areas.

"A fairly clean street in Downtown L.A."

S Flower St is part of downtown L.A. and is quite busy during the week. It is usually deserted after 7 p.m. once everyone gets out of work. The street is pretty dead on the weekend since there are only businesses in this area. The shopping centers in this area are great, but sometimes the streets smell like urine because a few homeless hang out near the subway station exits on 7th and S Flower.

"Awesome skate park in the Bronx!"

The Mullaly Skate Park is right on River and E 164th St. This park is amazing and the street is really clean and beautiful. "A little run down, but a central shopping location."

Fordham Rd is a sight to behold. It is a little run down, but always very busy. There are men playing cards and gambling on top of boxes just like the movie. The stores on this street offer many discounts and deals. You can buy jeans for $7 and shirts for under $5. The streets might be a little dirty and grimy, but there is some charm to visiting here. I've heard many people say it's dangerous in that area, but I never had a problem shopping there and I couldn't deny a bargain. The new library is right around the corner and is worth the visit.

"Shopping areas and Poe Park"

Valentine is a bustling street and has many stores to shop from. The corner of Valentine and Fordham Road has a Dr. Jays and you'll see many street vendors and people selling bootleg DVDs in this area. There are also people selling socks and purses until the cops come. The northern part of Valentine leads to Poe Park. That museum is where Edgar Allan Poe lived and it is so tiny and neat to see in the middle of the Bronx.
