"West 110th is an up and coming street in NYC"

Frequented mostly by Columbia University students, many aren't aware of the unique cafes and shops that are popping up further east on 110th Street closer to Central Park. With the renovation of Frederic Douglas Circle, new businesses are flocking to this area that is changing for the better. Check out the trendy little cafe below Towers on the Park close to Central Park West. Shop at the gourmet grocery store on the south side of the street while you are there.

"On W 110 St"

W 110 St runs from the northwestern tip of Central Park to the Hudson River. It is well connected to public transportation and hosts many small and useful shops. However, it is definitely not a lively street. In any case, it is a good place where to live. Particularly nice is the part close to the Hudson River, where you can take a car-free stroll in the Riverside Park. For the one interested in historical building, the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine is right there.

"In need of revitalization"

W. 110th street has solid potential, but it needs a city that believes in it to thrive. The street has a solid location and great transportation options. There are many small businesses and service type shops along the way which is a great service to the people who live here, but overall the area has a depressed feel to it. It's not necessarily run down or dirty, it simply feels old and uncared for. With a bit of sprucing up it would be a wonderful location, especially closest to Riverside drive. It's not a bad place to live though in any event and it's fairly convenient and reasonable.

"West 110th Street"

There’s really not a lot going on this street, though you will find various small businesses and things to do. I wasn’t very impressed and thought that the area was generally run down, but you might find more to like on other blocks nearby. All in all, an average street in the Brooklyn.
