"A street with a lot of potential."

Woodhaven Blvd is often used primarily as a main street to get from point A to point B but depending on where you happen upon the street there are some great food finds. It's one of the longer roads takes those driving through a number of different neighborhoods. The street gets congested during the summer as many people use the road as a way to get to the beach. Woodhaven House is a great stop for a good drink though and there are many other great potential spots for food and nightlife in the area. It's not just a way to get to the beach.

"To The Beach"

Although Woodhaven Blvd in Queens is a major thoroughfare for the neighborhood it was always our way to Rockaway Beach.

Summertime finds buses and cars heading to the end of Woodhaven Blvd and entering the beach area. Although it was some time ago the memories of this area are still filled with fun. There were rides and the boardwalk and you always met someone you knew laying around in the sand.

The Boulevard itself is lined with homes and businesses and you really have no need to leave the area - except if you work elsewhere!!!

"Up and down!"

This street runs as one of the main veins of Queens...Going both up and down hill as does the economic background of the neighborhoods it runs through. This street is definitely worth travelling down to see what attractions it has to offer since its diversity is one of a kind. Definitely a street you will not forget for the rest of your life.
