"surprisingly dull street"

Considering the amount of housing and the location of a school on one end of this street it is very lonely. I rarely saw anyone walking about or just sitting outside, I suppose they had things to do inside or just didn't want to deal with the muck all over the sidewalks. It is a rather filthy street but it is nothing compared to what other streets I have seen and those were in Manhattan of all places. All in all it is a great little street to live on if you don't mind noise.

"On Avenue X"

This street is filled with businesses, shops, and restarants. It's very active and filled with people at all times of the day. It's a bit noisy and dirty, but what street isn't in New York City? I like this neighborhood a lot and think that it would be a fun place to either visit or to live, if you're looking for something a little more low-key than Manhattan.

"Expected more character from this street."

This is a rather dull street with not much character or personality, that is if a street can have character or personality. I had the feeling it was just put there to get to the other streets.
There is not many people out in the street even with apartment buildings all over, the people seem to be all inside.
