Avenue B
"A Unique Spot to Stop"
Avenue B is marginally more appealing than Avenue A but it's still not my favorite place. Avenue B is quickly becoming a Mecca for yet-undiscovered talents and a few good cafes and restaurants have found their way into the area. If underground performance is your bag than this might just be the right place to visit. What is pretty unique about the area is the street performers that can be found occassionally.

"Avenue B is Better Than C"
On this street, you will not only find all of the wonderful goodness known as Alphabet City, but you'll also find Le Souk, which is becoming one of the most popular venues for underground performers in the city. For food, go to Mercaditos for some great tapas!
The East village is one of my favorite areas and Avenue B is not an exception. So much to do, so many places to go, and great people to see. It is highly diverse, lively and filled with unique style.Avenue B is close to the following metro: L at 14th and is accessible to many buses. Foot traffic is moderate, and it is a good neighborhood for all people!
