"Bay Terrace Lives On"

It is at the center of the island, close to the ocean and Great Kills National Recreational Area, and adjoining two other great areas, Oakwood and Great Kills. It is consisted mostly of homes. The train station is close to Amboy Rd, which cuts across the southern part of the island parallel to the ocean and ends at the end of it at Conference Hall. Hylan Blvd, a litte more to the south, is also another way of accessing east and west of the island.
Pros
  • Quiet
  • Great access to other parts
  • Parks
Cons
  • Mostly homes
  • Not too many shopping options
  • Traffic noise on Amboy Rd
Recommended for
  • Beach Lovers
