What's the best fishing spot near Dover Plains?

I know that there is fishing available along the Ten Mile River in Dover/Dover Plains. Thing is, one place where I know for absolute certain you can fish in Dover Plains is a preserve -- which requires a membership in order to be able to fish there.

The Ten Mile River is probably one of the better spots in town, but you'd have to find a quiet spot to drop a line where you wouldn't be trespassing on anyone's property. I believe I've done it once or twice back in the day, but that was ages ago.

There are also several ponds and lakes around Dover Plains, but I have not attempted to fish in any.
