"Just about everything you need"
Anthropologie and Coach are both on the corner of 16th and 5th directly across the street from each other. Anthropologie has to be one of my favorite stores. It's a little pricey but everything is so lovely. Right at the corner of 16th and Broadway is a place called Coffee shop. Its a step up from an actual coffee shop. The food isn't great but if you're into a scene -- this is it. A lot of people watching is done at this place especially in the warmer months. Directly across the street is a seafood that's acutally pretty good but also quite trendy. 16th runs right into Union Square. I have mixed feelings about this place. It's very New York and the Greenmarket is great but it's also really annoying if you're trying to traverse Union Square because it is never not packed with people. It's mostly apartments from here on out sprinkled with a few little restaurants and shops. 16th also runs into Stuyvesant Square which is a weird split in two park that's kind of ugly. And, 16th runs into Beth Israel. So, if you need a hospital, 16th is the way to get there.
