"Pretty, Full of Wealthy Residents"

This is a resident friendly street (actually, most streets on the Upper East Side are pretty resident friendly – probably because it costs so much to live there). It features a few restaurants, a hospital, and a pilates studio (it seems that there are a lot of yoga and pilates places in this neighborhood).

"Wonderful Neighborhood with Nearby Delights"

Another great residential area. Hunter College doesn’t overshadow the block, though the dollar signs on the real estate might. This is a residential area, so there isn’t much in terms of dining and entertainment, though convenience are available throughout the neighborhood. This street does have a park — Catherine Park ---- which is used by the local for dog walking and relaxing. A woman walking a collie told me that she, “wouldn’t live any place else in the city.” I wasn’t taken by the street, but others seemed to be. The 6 train is conveniently located at the east end of the street, and it is also a great place to catch a glimpse of Roosevelt Island.
