Is East Fishkill an artistic community?

I have never really viewed it as such. East Fishkill is more of a suburban residential town with some big business (IBM plant on Route 52), not much of a colony for artists. Now I happen to know that there are a few artists living here (or who have lived here), but it doesn't strike me as the kind of place where there's much of an art scene.

The nearest town that I would say is trending heavily towards the artistic side is Beacon.
