"Gorgeous natural setting."

Slocum Crescent is a true nod to what a planned community should look like. As a product of suburbia myself it's always nice to feel like even in a place like Queens a true paradise is not far off. The homes on Slocum Crescent are well maintained and the streets are extremely quiet. You could walk for probably 30 minutes without ever seeing a car drive by. The LIRR services the area, although many will find it is easier to trek to the 7 train to get into the city as the LIRR's service is far more limited. Overall it's a beautiful place to live but it probably out of the league of most on an average income.

AngelN WHAT? The 7 train is nowhere near Forest Hills, let alone within walking distance. The E, F, M and R are in Forest Hills. You are very confused.

"On Slocum Crescent"

This very nice mainly residential street is one of the prettiest in the diverse borough of Queens. I was surprised by the beautiful old homes and friendliness of the people on the street. If you would like to get to Slocum Crescent, you can use the 71st Avenue at Forest Hills Subway and access the E, F, V, and J trains. You can also use the M train at 75th Avenue. The rail at Forest Hills is also located at the interesection of 71st Avenue and Greenway Avenue.

AngelN The J train has never serviced 71st Ave. The E/F/M/R are here. And the LIRR is at the intersection of 71st Ave. and Burns St.

"One of the Prettiest Streets In Queens"

Exeter Street is filled with many small businesses geared to the people living in this neighborhood. This street is filled with identical well maintained brownstones and beautiful trees. Many of the residents here have cars, though, public transportation is nearby. I thought that this was one of the prettiest streets in Queens, and would be a really nice place to live! If you would like to get to Exeter Street, you can use the 71st Avenue at Forest Hills Subway and access the E, F, V, and J trains. You can also use the M train at 75th Avenue. The rail at Forest Hills is also located at the interesection of 71st Avenue and Greenway Avenue.
AngelN
AngelN There are no businesses on Exeter Street. It is 100% residential. All your subway/train comments are wrong as well.
