There are numerous options for summer camps in the Glen Cove area. The YMCA on Dosoris Lane is a popular option. Set on a 14 acre Gold Coast estate overlooking the Long Island Sound, North Shore Country Day Camp is in a beautiful setting and offers a variety of day camp options. http://www.northshoredaycamp.com/

Many of the private schools in the area, such as The Portledge School, Friends Academy and Green Vale School all offer summer programs as well. Your options are endless. There are full day and 1/2 day programs. Some are academic and some are just for fun. Some programs run for a series of weeks and other can be selected on a week-by-week basis.
