Hurricane Sandy - What can you do in case it comes YOUR way?

I have always found that you can't find batteries.. My solution to that is purchasing a solar paneled flashlight from L.L. Bean... Great for 8 hours of much needed light, and recharged during the day - a simple way to solve the battery issue... Generators are alreays sold out in many areas... but not too late to buy that flashlight!

Stock up on plenty of water, and buy some first aid kits

Also don't forget your candles, masking tape for the windows and charge all your batteries on phone, laptops and computers.

Solar power rechargers, water containers, radio (hopefully that can charge with the solar power chargers), books to read and board games :)
