"For Your Consideration...."

Meeker Avenue has quite a bit to offer in terms food and entertainment, namely bars and restaurants. Meeker Avenue merges into the BQE or the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. On the outlet part of the street, you'll find more business, while on the BQE, you'll find chains like McDonalds or smaller joints like Nina's Restaraunt and Pizzeria.

In terms of the look and feel of the street, it's not that bad. There are some nice housing options and Brooklyn trees lining the street. There's a little construction, but nothing major that I saw. It wasn't the quiestest place though. Another good thing was the access. With a car, the BQE is convenient, the bus system is popular, and the nearest subway is 6 blocks away at Nassau Street (G train).

All in all, I would say that this is a nice street, while with nothing too remarkable happening, is a good place to consider when thinking of moving to Brooklyn.
