What are the best local dining options in Milan?

Stella's Cafe is really good, and that's about the closest thing to Milan, and it's in Red Hook. It's not exactly the type of place you'd be taking dates though.

Well, there was a little place called Another Little Fork in the Road in Milan, but upon investigation, the website seems to be defunct. I would love to know if it is still open as it seems/seemed pretty cool and especially in light of the fact that there doesn't seem to be much else going on in Milan itself. I think one's best bet then would be to head on over to nearby Rhinebeck and Red Hook where there are some dining options.
