The mayor was is Sderot, where it is said that the people have maybe 15 seconds to prepare for a bomb exploding - if that. Constantly living in a state of alertness.

Makes the state of alert in NYC look like a vacation.

He's giving support to blaming Hamas for the attacks, putting Palestinians at risk.

Ray Kelly was with him too.

Should the mayor be doing this? Isn't this like being some kind of ambassador?

Yeah, I thought that too. I'm all for Israel, but I wondered about him going there. I guess it is because of what we went through on 9/11.
