"Good street for residents under 30"
If you want to be close to everything that the neighborhood offers (the art scene, music scene, shopping and restaurants), then this is a great street. There’s a burger place over on Bedford between South First and Second called DuMont Burger that has some good beers on tap. The street is relatively quiet during the day, though there can be meandering groups of party-goers at night

"Hipsters and locals unite on this street."
This street has a cool mixture of hipster kids and Cuban men sitting on their stoops. This street is now considered cool and indie and most of the locals have embraced it. The brick apartment buildings are pretty and there are a few latin meat markets and 99 cent stores on this street. There is still some tagging on the buildings, but it adds to the charm of this street.
