Is Dinsmore Golf Course in Staatsburg any good?

It would appear as such. My experience with it is pretty limited, but I do know for starters that it's in a tremendous location right by the Hudson River and the scenery is something that's raved about by players and visitors.

As far as the quality of the course, I've heard that the greens are kept pretty well and that some holes are quite challenging.

The prices are not bad -- at last check, it was $22 for 18 holes on a weekday and $24 to rent a cart. 9 holes is $14 on a weekday and the cart is $14 for 9 holes. The weekend is a few dollars more. That's fairly consistent with other courses in the area I've played, and I would think that given the scenery and good condition of the course that this is a solid deal.

I've had it recommended to me in the past so I've got no reason not to recommend it to others.
