What New York City neighborhoods are similar to Times Square? I am looking to move to New York City soon.

There's really nothing similar to Times Square. As far as architecture, I guess it's like the Financial District. But, energy-wise, Times Square is kind of a mess. It is filled to the gills with tourists 24 hours a day. It's all bright, obnoxious lights and sounds, people everywhere that are gawking and not moving, and annoyed locals trying to get around them and out of the neighborhood. All of the restaurants and bars are catered to to tourists so there isn't really a neighborhood vibe. It's pretty crazy.
