"A nice little area"

Glens Falls is a nice place and is known to be near the Great Escape. I've lived there for only 5 months yet i felt right at home. No one should mind this place being their hometown, it is so lovely. The neighborhoods are pretty and kept in good shape. There are no gangs and hardly any crime. Even in school, (i was at the end of eighth grade and went through a lot of freshman year), i felt at home, and that's rare. I recommend, though i'll point out Sanford street elementary (i never went there but my little brother and little sister went there before, he went for the end of fifth grade, my sister almost the entire kindergarten) is already knocked down and no longer a school. Yet, i still do recommend that your kids grow up here considering the nice hospitality of the residents and the parks and nice environment. I have nice memories here of Crandall Park even though it was only 2010 and i was fourteen. My little sister had a nice kindergarten start and i'm proud of that because i did in Watervliet. Hope this place is great for you if you plan living here!!
Pros
  • Nice people
  • Clean streets
  • Unforgettable memories
Cons
  • Sometimes bugs can be a pain there
  • winters are a little colder(farther north, unless for you this isn't a con if you live farther north)
