Heckscher Dr
"A cool place to be."
A1A dosen't dissappointe if you have ever herd a jimmy buffet song then you know what I mean. This street is a fun place to be on especially at night time. A1A in Jacksonville Florida houses a lot of resturants and mostly island style ones at that. With the beach only steps away I can't see how anyone wouldn't like this street. Also the street is fairly small and slow speed limit wise.
Martin Luther King Dr
"Get out, and get out quickly."
This street is a very dangerous street. If you have a Martin Luther King street back were your from then your probably pretty familiar with it being bad, it seems every one I have ever visited is the same. This is the street that houses the criminals, drugloards and pretty much just the bad people. My best advice would be turn around and don't look back.
Belle Rive Bv
"A busy road for busy people."
Southside Blvd in Jacksonville Florida is street that you don't want to be on between five and six on a work day. Other then the common work day traffic Southside is normally a pretty smooth flowing road with a good amount of resturants and retail on it. Southside is also a three lane road at times which helps keep the flow of traffic moving.
Gate Pkwy West
"Nice street for commuters or familys."
This street is a two lane either directon road that cuts its way through trees and corporations. Gate prkwy is home to mostly people commuting to work but also has many apartments nestled along its sides. Gate prkwy is also a quick way to get to the town center mall from Southside Blvd.
Live Oak Dr
"The beaten path."
Monument is a road that is fairly new or should I say newely redone. The road takes you from interstate 9A all the way to Hannah Park or the Jacksonville Naval Base. This street really dosen't have much on it but it is a nice senic view. All in all I enjoy driving on this road.
Valencia Grove Ln
"The main stage for most colleges."
Although I can not speak for the rest of the colleges but when it comes to UNF University Blvd is the main road in and out. When travelling on University you can either head north into the University or south torwards town center the main outdoor mail in Jacksonville. The street is normally fairly clean and has a good feel to it.
Hodges Blvd
"A key piece to the Square."
Hodges Blvd is a basic building block in the Jacksonville square. The Jacksonville Square consists of Hodges Blvd, Atlantic Blvd, Beach Blvd and San Pablo. These Streets are considered most important to incoming freshman at the UNiversity of North Florida, because most stuff falls into them.
Beach Blvd
"The little sister of Atlantic Blvd."
Beach blvd often looked at as the little sister of Atlantic Blvd is a parallel running street that goes east and west. The size of Beach Blvd Also lacks the width and length of Atlantic. Although, Beach Blvd dose include so beach resturants when you hit Atlantic Beach. If you have a choice between Atlantic and Beach Blvd I would recommend Atlantic.
Atlantic Blvd
"From the Beach to Tallahassee."
Arlantic Blvd is a staple of Jacksonville Florida. If you are to go east on Atlantic it takes you directly to beautiful Jacksonville beach. If you are to go west on Atlantic you can take it to interstate 10 which goest to Tallahassee and beyond. There are many resturants on Atlantic and it is mainly a three lane either direction road.
Kernan Blvd North
"A ever expanding street with endless possibilities."
Kernan Blvd is definantley a backbone of Jacksonville Florida. Kernan takes you from the University of North Florida all the way to Monument. The Street is currently undergoing construction but should be finished in about one to two years. When completed it should be a smooth steady traffic flowing street. Street is mosetly quite and does not pass through any rough areas.
