"Surprisingly Quiet Street"

School Lane is just what it's named. It's a very short street with a handful of houses, and Village Elementary School. For the fact that the street mainly houses an elementary school, it's deceptively quiet and calm. The houses are well maintained, with beautiful gardens. Traffic is quite safe, being a school zone. And just think, the kids probably walk to school!

"Great shopping and more"

I'm on Ridge Road all the time to shop. There's the Elmridge plaza, with a Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Tops and several little stores. Then there's the Wegman's Plaza with a bunch of different types of stores. Then to top it all off, Greece Ridge Mall is also on Ridge Road! The road has tons of different places to eat, shop, and just about do whatever. Great place to just spend a day driving around to different places. (I wouldn't recommend walking- it's a bit too busy for that.)

"Run the other Direction"

I lived on Hudson Avenue for a VERY short period. It's a long street, so I can't say I know all of it, but the inner city section is just horrible. It's a dirty street with a lot of violent and unsavory activity. Within the month that I lived there, I managed to witness a shooting, see two houses broken into, and hear that a man was burned alive at the end of my street. Just a horrible horrible place.

"Depends on the section..."

Lake Avenue is an incredibly long and diverse street. I lived on the corner of Lake and Denise down closer to Charlotte. It's a beautiful area down there. Short walk down to Lake Ontario, the beach, the pier and all the wonderful activities. There's a bar down there, the Penny Arcade, I think everyone has been there at least once! If you head the other direction, more towards the city, there's a huge cemetery (Mt. Hope) and then you hit 104. Past 104 you get closer to the city, with grocery stores, and furniture stores, and it just keeps going all the way to Main Street Downtown!

"Awesome place to Live"

I grew up on Cooper Drive. It's such a great little neighborhood, and my parents still live there over 20 years later! It's a quiet street off Fraser, which is off of East Ave, which is a main street in Hilton. Cooper is walking distance from the high school. Neighbors are very friendly, everyone really knows their neighbors and works hard to keep it a safe place. Kids are often found playing right in the street, because we all watch out for one another, and drive safe for the kids. They're great kids, they move out of the way if you're coming.

"Whatever you need to find!"

Elmwood Avenue is an awesome place for just about anything, most especially the nightlife. With lots of little bars, places to eat and similar things, it's a wonderful place to stay out all night and have a good time. The best part is the low prices everywhere you go on this street, you can have a good time without breaking the bank!

"Not to close, or too far"

This is a wonderful street with close access to both a mall and a grocery store. Not only that, it's got lots of space, sidewalks, big lawns and trees to make it a nice quiet, neighborhood type feel for a street. It's a beautiful place to live or grow up, and with close relation to 33 it's easy to get out and travel too.

"An architectural dream!"

This is a wonderful, statuesque street. Everyone should live here!! There are wonderful old mansions and brownstones, little coffee shops and things to enjoy! It's a beautiful street even to just take a scenic walk looking at the beautiful architecture! Anyone would be truly lucky to live on such a street, not just for the architectural value, but because it’s such a quiet, wonderful place to live.

"Beautiful, Quiet Street"

This street is one of the old, stately type streets you can find a lot of in Buffalo. With beautiful homes that have been around for a long time, it can be expensive to live there, but is entirely worth it! The homes are such a delight to just drive around and look at. I think anyone would be happy to live here!

"Not somewhere to Live"

This is a truly busy busy street. There are lots of shops, coffee houses, and easy access to both 33 and the Galleria. I wouldn't want to live there (it doesn't seem very safe to live in such a high traffic area- although there aren't many houses left anyways!) but I do enjoy driving along between the different shops and things.

"Wonderful "Old" Feel"

One of my favorite pizza shops is along this street, along with many other small shops and things. It's a much more "out of the city" feel than some streets in Buffalo. It's beautiful; some parts of it are very scenic. It would be a great place for anyone who wants to live close to Buffalo, but not right on top of it.

"Too much Construction!!"

As with most of upstate NY, there seems to be two seasons. Winter and construction! Unfortunately, I've only been to Genesee Street a few times upon living the airport to visit relatives. I always get caught in miles of construction and traffic. I can't even say "oh it's beautiful" because you can't see it beyond the construction! I should try flying in during the off season.
