"very small street in a big town"

103rd street only spans a few blocks. and well those blocks arent the best either. Its in corona and theres large houses and some brick buildings. parking is somewhat tight as people from other streets then to come and park. It has a large teenage population which can be seen on the streets at 5pm or 5am. I wouldnt recommend it as a safe haven but there is plenty poliece patrols. The streets arent filthy so thats good.

"strictly residental, dont look for food or gas"

This street was probably designed just to take its residents out to queens blvd or to another main street they can use to get around. I say this becuase its very residental, nothing but houses and a few apt buildings. Theres no stores for food and no gas stations or even a bus route. IF you dont have a car you can walk to a bus stop but in the winter time as we know it, a 5 min walk feels like an eternity.

"fast track thru part of queens with no lights instead of jamaica ave"

Park Lane South is a street I use to take a lot to get to and from my house. You can access it or use it to head directly to Woodhaven Blvd. Which would save you much more time than taking Jamaica. You can also use it to go towards Queens Village or the Courthouse or many times we took this to get to the Interboro/Jackie Robinson highway. Theres some houses lined on the streets. Normally you dont seen much if any one outself. It is clean and safe trip where you can leave your windows down without fear of a mugger. Very few traffic lights so you can zip to where you have to be.

"residental street as depicted in shows"

85th Ave is two blocks off the bustling Jamaica Ave. So its a small walk to all nearby trains, buses, and shopping. Being that the food itself is on Jamaica ave the choice and quaity of food isnt the greatest. 85th ave is lined with several early childhood schools and parks. Its very residential and low on noise. Many neighbors know each other and wives jog together. A street where kids can play on and off the street without fear of a speeding car coming towards them.
