"Country in the City"

While I would consider this road to be a lower to lower middle income road, it is very nice pleasant. The lower end of it is very country feeling with lots of trees and greenery. Driving through you wouldn't guess you were in a big city. While there is an area that is mostly industrial or businesses, and they are getting rather run down, many were making renovations last time I was there. The road is fairly quiet overall with very little traffic. While some of the buildings need some help, there are quaint little gems among them that are inviting. Just watch for cars parked on the side of the road at night, otherwise you could very well hit one if you swerve for any reason. Also don't miss the State Preserve, its beautiful!

"Average City Street"

Manor Road is what I would consider an average city road. There are blocks of homes followed by blocks of businesses. You will see the ocassional teenager who should be in school or a graffitti mark, but nothing I would consider out of the ordinary for a city. There are some decent delis to grab a quick bite to eat though and it's always nice to support a local owned small business. I would rate the traffic a medium, there are times when it gets busy but usually its not too bad. Just watch out for people pulling out as they have a hard time seeing sometimes when bigger vehicles park along the road. I wouldn't say to go out of your way to visit, but I wouldn't say it was unpleasant to travel along if you need to get somewhere.

"Quaint and Relaxing Street"

My favorite part about Bloomingdale Road is driving under the canopy of the trees. It gives you back a moment of country feel when in such a busy city. It is mostly residential with some small businesses. The people here have always been nice, and are great at giving you direction when you get lost, I have had to ask numerous times. You can pretty much always find someone out walking their dog or going on a stroll so it's not hard to ask. The only downfall would be the hazerdous roads. It is only a small area given the whole road, but at night it can be difficult as there isn't really any shoulder to the road. Last time I was here, they were talking about fixing it though so hopefully they will. If and when it gets fixed, I would give this Bloomingdale Road a 10.
