Richardson Ave
"Fun, but busy street with lots to do."
This is a very busy street and part of route 101 that connects the Golden Gate area to the Lombard Street area. This is a three lane street going in both directions. There are great restaurants on this street as well including many pizza restaurants and sushi bars. This street also features the famous, Mel’s Drive-in.
Marine Dr
"Great place for all ages. Gorgeous Views. Highly recommended."
This street runs along a sandy beach which boasts magnificent views of the Golden Gate Bridge. This was one of my favorite streets when traveling to San Francisco. On the other side of the beach area there are fields for playing with the kids while still soaking up all the sun and views of the bridge and bay area. I highly recommend this street.
Phelan Ave
"Serves as a connector street. No attractions here."
This street runs through the middle of City College San Francisco to its large parking lot. It basically just serves the purpose for connecting Ocean Avenue to Judson Avenue. There is nothing great about this street except the nice looking college, but other than that there are no attractions. The atmosphere is neutral.
Michigan St
"Small boring industrial street."
There is absolutely nothing to do on this street and no real reason to go down it unless you work in the shipping industry. It is a very dirty street and there are no attractions here at all. It is pretty much just a street that connects 25th and 24th streets on the eastern end.
Linda St
"Boring and just residential."
This street connects to 19th street which has a bunch of attractions, but this street is mainly residential. Do not go down this street if you are looking for stuff to do. The street runs right by a park with some recreational facilities in it like a pool and basketball courts, but there aren’t any tourist attractions.
Cunningham Pl
"This street should be a driveway because there is a parking lot at the end of it and no attractions on it."
At the end of this street is a nice restaurant which is called, Range Restaurant. As for this street, however, it is basically just a driveway for a recreation area with a pool, basketball court, tennis courts, and a soccer court. The facility is nice, but this street should just be a driveway. At the end of the "street" there is a parking area for whoever wanted to use the facilities. There is nothing special about this street. I would not recommend it to anyone looking to tour the city.
Liberty St
"Small residential street."
This street is a small residential street. There are some nicely designed condos and apartments here. This street is also connected to Guerrero Street and Valencia Street which are big restaurant and tourist venues. There is not too much to do on this street besides glance at the architectural designs of the houses.
San Carlos St
"Mostly residential street, but in tourist area."
San Carlos Street is mainly a residential street with a lot of apartment buildings. There is, however, some nice artwork painted on the sides of a few of the buildings on this street which makes for a pleasant drive down it. It is also right in the middle of the Mission district of San Francisco. I wouldn't highly recommend this street just because there is not much to do, but if you are in the area, I'd say you might as well check it out.
Pennsylvania Ave
"Peaceful, yet busy city street. A nice travel route."
The Philadelphia Art Museum is on this road, but the Pennsylvania Ave is nothing like it is in Washington D.C. It is a very long street that goes from the outskirt of downtown to far away from downtown. Many parks run along this street as well which makes for a nice peaceful, yet busy street.
Cherry St
"Inner city street, but not much to do down it."
This is a side street in downtown Philadelphia. If you've been to Phily, you might have already been down this street just because it serves as a primary street that connects the Philadelphia Convention Center to Benjamin Franklin Parkway. There is not much to do as far as attractions on this street but a nice travel route anyway.
Lincoln Blvd
"One of the main streets in LA with tons and tons of sites."
This is one of the longest and most important streets in Los Angeles. This street runs from the airport all the way down to Santa Monica. One of the last stops is at Santa Monica beach, but this street passes by Loyola Marymount University and right through beautiful Marina Del Rey. A visit to LA without driving down Lincoln Blvd is an incomplete trip. Lincoln Blvd is the main access route to all the popular beaches too including Venice, Santa Monica, and Playa del Rey. There are a bunch of discount stores toward Santa Monica on Lincoln Blvd too.
West 6th St
"Fairly nice parks and beautiful buildings, but mainly cityscape."
West 6th Street in LA is mainly a city street which runs by Mac Arthur Park as well as Lafayette Park. It runs by the Bryson Hotel too which is an amazingly structured hotel. It is really a beautiful building that I loved to look at. This street also runs through Korea Town which features fabulous restaurants. Many houses and apartment buildings are on this street as well.
West 7th St
"MacArthur Park supposedly nice, but could use more improvements. Maybe check it out."
While you are in LA, you might as well check out W. 7th St. It runs right by MacArthur Park. There have been supposed improvements with cleaning up this park due to many homeless people living in the park and a lot of trash around, but when I went there in 2008, it seemed as if they did not begin to clean up the mess yet. MacArthur Park can be described as the "Central Park" of LA. It includes a small lake and everything. Aside from the park, W. 7th St. is a city street just outside of downtown LA.
North Alameda St
"Union Station and Post Office are beautiful and picturesque. Worth passing down."
There are many picturesque objects and places on this street which I find very appealing. The train station (Los Angeles Union Station) is one of the many artistic style places that is on this street. The post office also has a very distinct and nice architectural appeal to it that is worth taking some snapshots of. This is mainly a cityscape however.

"Not much to do, but long busy city road."
This is a well known, busy, transportation road in LA. There are not many attractions on this road, but somehow, when I was there, I always managed to end up on this road because one of the main subway lines run along Vermont Ave. The only subway line that runs north from downtown LA runs along Vermont Ave. then on up to North Hollywood. There are a bunch of stops that are half Vermont Ave and half some other street. Basically, Vermont is a transportation route that will take you to all the famous attractions that other streets have to offer.
Sunset Blvd
"Lots going on on this road including the famous strip. A must visit."
Ever hear of the Sunset Strip? Well this is a small section of Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. The Sunset Strip houses many famous restaurants, night clubs, and bars. 9 times out of 10 you will catch a celebrity walking down the street, eating at an outdoor restaurant, or driving by in their hummers or vipers. This road is pretty much the hot spot of LA or at least one of the main hot spots. If you don't plan to visit Sunset Blvd, you might as well not even bother coming to LA.
Valley Dr
"Picture perfect street and a must visit."
This is probably the most beautiful street in Los Angeles. It starts out as a residential street and weaves through a shopping type of setup with grocery stores and such. Then it ends at the beautiful Manhattan Beach, California. This is the nicest beach in my opinion in all of LA. The street has lots of nice little shops and boutiques on it near the actual beach part and tons of ice cream shops as well. This road serves as a main trolley route with quick access from all the hotels on W. Century Boulevard. A nice little vacation spot. Great sunsets too! A must see!
West Century Blvd
"Hotels and the airport, but that's it."
When I visited LA, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on W. Century Blvd. The hotel was alright, but there is nothing on this street for miles. The airport is at the end of this road along with a strip of large scale hotels. It's a bit of an awkward setup. This road is an important connection for the bus transit system. It connects the airport subway station to the bus line at aviation bus station.
South la Cienega Blvd
"Lots of hometown shopping on this road."
La Cienega Boulevard is home to the Beverly Center, which is a famous Mall in LA. It is worth visiting this street. However, when I was here, I thought that the overall prices of the stores in the B.C. were outrageous and the layout of the mall was a little wacky. For instance, having to walk through Sears then up an elevator just to get into the mall was a little weird. However, right across the street from the B.C. is a large Old Navy store with a bunch of "hometown" style shopping stores around the area with much cheaper prices. This street was very fun to visit. Great for everyone.
laa Brea Ave
"One distinct attraction worth noting, but mainly a busy city street."
La Brea is mainly a city street with a lot of hustle and bustle. The main attraction that is worth noting is the La Brea Tar Pits. The tar pits are a miraculous wonder because it is a lake of tar instead of water. It is truly an amazing site to see. Along with the tar pits if you have a lot of time on your hands you could check out the Los Angeles museum of Art which is right next door to the pits.
Wilshire Blvd
"Busy street and much to do. One of the bests in LA."
There is so much stuff to do on Wilshire boulevard. Wilshire is one of the main roads that the Metro Rapid bus runs on and that is how I traveled up and down the road when I was out there. Wilshire hits many of the common neighborhoods such as Brentwood, Westwood, and Beverly Hills. The street gets a 4 star for vibe because it can get a little crazy sometimes.
