Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven Queens NY is a commercial street stretching from Eldert Lane all the way east to 98th Street which spans 18 blocks. Jamaica Avenue offers a little bit of everything from drugstores like Rite-Aid and Eckerd to restaurants like local favorite Pop's restaurant and Forest View restaurant. All of my shopping was easily done on Jamaica Ave. It was always an adventure to walk along Jamaica Ave.
