The tiny Waccabuc post office is a community hub where neighbors often catch up while retrieving their mail or engaging in friendly banter with the post office staff. Many community events are planned by the Waccabuc Land owner council such as the progressive neighborhood dinner, new resident cocktail party, community hiking events, Childrens Halloween party and non-denominational Mead Chapel concerts. A broader community network is also available to Waccabuc residents by virtue of the fact that they are part of the Katonah Lewisboro School district.
