"Where it's at"

Anyone who is anyone in Miami is here. You can see movie stars and models on the beach or walking down Collins. There is plenty of shopping and eating and night life here. If that is not your thing, the beach is a block away! The street is a bit crowded and busy, but this is the happening place in Miami, the infamous South Beach! There are many hotels and condos to rent or buy if you want to live in the area. Just be prepared to spend a bit more money!

"Aventura Blvd is in the heart of upscale north Miami-Dade County"

Aventure Blvd. is near the mall, the ocean and the intercoastal. This is a great area for shopping and eating out. There are many medical facilities in the area including plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, cosmetic dentistry and chiropractic care. The Aventura Hospital is convenient and easy to get to. The people have a strong sense of community and there are a lot of community events available. The Aventura Mall is one of the best in south Florida. It can be crowded at times but you will be able to find anything you need.

"Avoid the Palmetto if you can"

This is the most dangerous highway I have ever traveled on. People actually stop their cars in the middle of the road for no apparent reason. There are always accidents on the Palmetto and it is always backed up for miles. Unfortunately, the Palmetto cuts through the heart of Miami-Dade County, connecting east to west and north to south. The Palmetto goes to the airport, but there are many alternative routes. I would suggest Ludlum Road or Douglas Road.

"Nice, quiet neighborhood near the highway"

Miami Lakes Drive is a quaint, winding street next to shopping, restaurants, golf courses and schools. This neighborhood is very clean and green. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. Don Shula's Golf Resort is in the area as well as a movie theater. This road has easy access to the Palmetto Highway and to the Florida Turnpike. Just south of Broward County, Miami Lakes Drive has more of a neighborhood feel than a big city feel.

"In the middle of town"

Miami Gardens Drive is in the middle of Miami-Dade County. It is close to highways, malls and businesses. It can be a bit noisy due to the popularity of the area. The people seem to be friendly enough and there is a sense of community. This street allows easy access to I-95 so you can head quickly down to the keys or north to Ft. Lauderdale. This area is not as expensive as other parts of Miami-Dade.
