"Gorgeous Street Along A Beautiful Canal"

This winding street parallels a beautiful canal. Living nearby, I have not only had the chance of driving alongside these lovely homes, but I have also boated and rowed alongside them. The canal is really wonderful and adds a significant organic dimension to the life of the house.

As is usual in Coral Gables, the houses are well designed and interesting. They are moderately large (although some parts of the street are more modestly sized than others) and somewhat expensive. The living experience is worth it if you can afford it though - there is little nicer than the centrally located Coral Gables in Miami and Alhambra Circle is one of those streets.

"Historic But Somewhat Dangerous Neighborhood"

Grand Avenue and the immediate area surrounding it in Coconut Grove is a historic place where some famous protests have taken place. However, it is a dangerous neighborhood. It is publicly known to be propped up by the government to prevent crime outbreaks or new protests. There are numerous police cars around, which is good for safety, but a bit of an eyesore and reminder of circumstances for those living there. Being in a good location, this neighborhood might be revitalized within the next 30 years.

"A Clean and Beautiful, but Pricey Neighborhood"

As the other reviewer said, these are big houses and a relatively expensive area, but it is worth every dollar. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, clean, and quiet. The neighbors are good people with respectful attitudes. The city of Coral Gables in general is great and a wonderful place to life if you can afford it.

It is also worth noting that what makes this neighborhood expensive isn't necessarily the food, amenities, and other living expenses -- but the cost of the real estate itself.

"Pricey but Wonderful Place to Live"

I've grown up in Miami, but have been fortunate to visit and spend significant amounts of time in many other cities. Although an extremely lengthy review would be easy, in the interest of making it quick, I'll say the following:

Miami is a great place to live, but not for the reasons you so often hear. The amenities provided to tourists are terrible and most things in these neighborhoods are overpriced. Much of the city is overpriced, in fact. But if you know what you are looking for -- beautiful scenery, wonderful food at decent prices, open space, lush foliage, and interesting people, it will take years to find the nooks and crannies where it can all be found.

"Pleasant Street in Beautiful South Coral Gables"

Speaking more generally than San Servando Avenue, I have several close friends who live in this area and have had the pleasure to visit their homes. The neighborhood is very quiet, with beautiful houses shading under the world-famous ficus tree canopy on Old Cutler street. The values of these homes have been rising significantly in recent years and will maintain that value -- one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the United States.

"A Lush and Clean Neighborhood"

I have a friend who lives here and I constantly admire her neighborhood. The houses are modest but very well maintained. The trees and foliage provide an extremely pleasant atmosphere. It is the time of ideal suburb that will not exist for much longer, being located centrally in Miami with such beautiful space. The value of this land will skyrocket within the next few decades.

"Beautiful Street Near the Mayor!"

I have not lived here, but have a very close friend who does.

This street is located on the beautiful Granada golf course. Every house is gorgeous and unique (and worth millions). It is located immediately next to the heart of Coral Gables and Miracle Mile -- the location of City Hall, great restaurants, and a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. It is a wonderful place to live if one can afford it.

"A Beautiful Street Whose Value is Increasing"

I've lived on Riviera Drive for 20 years, and it has always (and will always be) an absolutely beautiful place to live. It is extremely peaceful and one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Miami. The values of the homes have risen very high, and may be prohibitively expensive for some -- especially on Riviera Drive itself -- but the surrounding streets are not too different and will undoubtedly offer a very nice living experience. This street is even on the scenic tour of Coral Gables.
