William street is named after William of Nassau. It is also referred to as South William Street. The buildings on William Street cater financial institutions and offices. The Pace University a notable building in this area. Most of the time and space is occupied by finance dealing people and therefore not much of entertainment is found along this street. Restaurants and pubs do exist over here but their population is scarce.
Stuyvesant St
"Lonely place to be"
Stuyvesant Street is one of the oldest streets of New York. This street is daintily populated. This street are often used for movie shootings. Many movies carry scenes of the Stuyvesant street. This street is also very creaky. You could stumble upon a wide range of art books at St. Marks bookshop. Passing across here gave me a feeling of being in a town extremely ghostly and scary. It wasn't so pleasant here.
66th St
"Historical view point of New York"
66th street is known for its historic monuments. At every point across this street you will find something or the other having a direct relation to New Yorks past. I almost liked the scene of the entire street. One of them is the Lincoln Square. I had heard it quite a number of times but was totally amused to see the ABC news headquarters located here. A subway station helps in limiting the vehicular traffic to a minimum.It is also known as the Peter Jennings way in honor of the news anchor Peter Jennings.
Delancy Ave
"Street having art at every corner"
Delancy street was named in honor of James De Lancey. It is an eight lane, Median divided street. A wide range of businesses are found in this area. Delancy street is known for its discount clothing stores. I loved the shopping offers across the street and products exhibited too had a quality. Handmade articles and accessories had a great finish and surprisingly the rates were quite cheap. There are also professional artist and singers earning by performing on this street.
Cabrini Blvd
"Great and affordable estate apartments"
Cabrini Boulevard is the westernmost city of New York. As I've known it was also called the Northern Avenue. Housing is very cheap on this street. In fact Real estates with affordable apartments are readily available. One of the building area I found worth appreciating was the Housing View gardens also one of the oldest housing developments. You will not find food counters in large number but a very few that are there offer the best.
Astor Pl
"A landmark in New York's history"
This street is named after John Jacob Astor. Astor Place is famous for its Astor place subway station which is of historical importance. Across the street is the Joseph Papp public theater. The architectural developments of this place make it popular for tourism. Though there is not much of entertainment here, small corners of historical view catch the attention of many visitors passing by. I likes this place for its air of serenity and calmness.
