Myrtle Ave. stretches from the Queens expressway and ends in Booklyn next to the Brooklyn Bridge, It is probably one of the longest streets in the entire New York City. I lived on Myrtle ave. as a kid on the queens side and I remember it as an active and bustling street, unlike all the other quiet side streets that surround it. There are grocery stores, restaurants, shopping stores by the plenty. It is a very safe area as far as crime goes. There is plenty of good schools including (P.S 88 P.S 68 P.S. 77 P.S. 71) and quite a few high ranked high schools in the area. It is a very nice and friendly neigborhood to live in.

Pennsylvania Avenue is a great area to live, as compared to other nearby streets the rent is dirt cheap. There is many convinient stores which are open 24 hours. There are plenty of schools on this street, main one being the local Thomas Jefferson High school, which in recent years has improved greatly academicaly wise as several smaller schools have been established inside the building. The local post office has great speedy service. There are also several great daycare programs, the transportation is very convienient as there is several trains accesible to travel around NYC ( L, 3, and A trains). There is also several buses on Sutter ave. and New Lots ave. For transportation via car the local Linden Blvd can provide speedy way to get to Queens. Pennsylvania Avenue is an overall very nice place.

I grew up here as a little kid, Covert st itself is pretty small, ranging from approx. 15 blocks long. On the one side bordered by Wyckoff and the Other by Bushwick Ave. The street is pretty chill, not close to any real noisy areas, besides the occasional car passing by with music blasting. There grocery stores every few blocks and a handful of restaurants, mostly dominican food. There is a local park for little kids to play in. Very little to no crime or gang activity, no bars or nightclubs in the area, there arent many stray cats or animals and surprisingly very few rodents. This would be a great place to live as the rent is very cheap.

Wyckoff ave is a decent sized street (spans about a mile in length) that is located in northern brooklyn. The entire Wyckoff street spans from cooper ave to flushing ave. Closer to the cooper ave side of wyckoff the street is mostly residential, some factories and some empty stretches of old buildings. After you pass the Myrtle Ave border it becomes very hustle and bustle NYC is known for alot of stores and people in the area, although not as much as local Knickerbocker ave or Myrtle Ave.
I lived on the intersection of Wyckoff ave and Himrod st. for 4 years and the area is pretty decent although, the block I lived on at the time had some grim abandoned houses, there were a few muggings and robberies a week on this specific intersection until the local precint stepped up security and posted cops to watch the corner. Pretty decent area know of days compared to what it used to be.
