"A mostly residential street that has a great restaurant at one end."
38th street consists mostly of houses, but the restaurant on the end of it, Angelo's Cafe Bar & Restaurant, is very good. It offers a great fun atmosphere, good food, at great prices. Other than this, there isn't much else to do on this street, as you might expect. Overall, though, Angelo's Cafe Bar & Restaurant is worth the drive.
West 19th St
"A great street with some of the best restaurants in Vancouver"
West 19th street is home to a French restaurant called Mon Ami (my friend), that offers excellent, authentic French cuisine, and great service, although the prices were a tad high. The street also offer a restaurant called La Bottega, which offers a diverse menu, and extremely good food. Overall, this street is a must visit for those traveling through Vancouver!
East 25th St
"A nice little street with an above average diner"
East 25th street is somewhat of a back road with a hidden gem. This gem that I am referring to is called the Main Street Diner, and it offers some excellent home style food at great prices. The service at this place is very good as well, and I was able to order my lunch to go, and walk out with my food within ten minutes. Overall, this is a nice street that could use some more attractions, but the one that it current is home to is well worth the trip.
International Blvd Northeast
"An excellet street with plenty to do"
Andrew Young International Boulevard NE is a great street that has many places to visit that you will surely love. The first one of these places is Dailey's, which offers amazing food, as well as live music, and is truly a perfect restaurant. Another great place on this street is the Steak and Ale restaurant, which offers great, filling food, as well as great service. Overall, this is a perfect street to visit if you are looking for a great dinner restaurant, and I highly recomend it.
Bartlett St
"A tiny street with a great barbecue restaurant"
Bartlett street is like a little slice of Texas, as it is the home of an excellent Texas Barbecue restaurant, known as Original Texas Barbecue King. This place offers excellent burgers, great sauce, and has great service as well. This restaurant would have earned this street five stars, but there is nothing else to do on this street, so I'll leave it at four. Overall, I recommend this place if you are in the mood for barbecue.
East 2nd St
"A nice long street with plenty to do"
East 2nd street is home to some of the best sushi restaurants in Los Angeles. One of these places is known as Koraku restaurant. This place offers diner-styling, great food, and fast service. Another great place to visit on this street is the Komasa restaurant. This is a nice small restaurant with a very personable staff, and excellent food. So overall, if you are in the mood for Japanese food, I highly recommend heading down to East 2nd street.
West 4th St
"A tiny stretch of road that happens to be next to a pretty good restaurant"
West 4th street is just a tiny little strip of road connecting SOuth Olive street to South Grande Avenue. However, it's location puts it very close to the Noe restaurant and bar, a great place to eat. This place offers spectular food, a great atmosphere, but it does have mediocre service. Overall. West 4th street is conviently located next to a good palce to eat, so if you are going out tho diner, you may wish to head to this street. Otherwise, offers nothing else in the form of attractions.
North Alameda St
"A bit of a backroad that gives access to one of LA's best restaurants"
Ord stret isn't the most spectacular street appearance wise, and at some points of the day, can be jammed with traffic. However, it can be worth travellnig on occasionally, as it gives access to one of Los Angele's greatest restaurants, Phillipe's. This place offers groundbreaking french dip sandwhichs, at great prices. Although it will most likely be packed when you arrive, the sandwhiches are definately worth the wait. Overall, if you are in the mood for Phillipe's french dip sandwhiches, head down to this street. Otherwise, go elsewhere, as Phillipes is the only attraction on this street.
Franklin St
"A great best kept secret"
Franklin Street is a hidden little street that features two great restaurants. ONe of these places is Steve's soul food, which offers excellent comfort food, and great service. The other place is Magnolia Restaurant and Bar. This places has a great atmosphere, and a great menu, as well as great food. Overall, if you can find Franklin Street, you will not be dissapointed by these two great restaurants.
Shelby St
"An excellent little street that gives you a true taste of Detroit"
Shelby Street is a small street that is home to some of Detroits most memorable restaurants. One of these places is the American Coney island, where the best coneys in all of Michigan are made. Their prices are great, and the atmosphere is fun. Also, there is the Caucus Club Rstaurant, which offers supreme service, and excellent food. Overall, this street is a must go for all who are passing through Detroit.
Cadillac Sq
"A pretty nice street with some good places to eat"
Cadillac Square is home to one of the best burger places in detroit, in my opinion, and this place is called the Checker Bar & Grill. This place offers amazing burgers and onion rings, as well as decent service as well. Another place to go on this street is the Motown Cafe and Grill, which offers good food, great service, and a nice atmosphere. Overall Cadillac square is a good place to visit, if you are in the mood for burgers.
Pitt St
"Not the best neighborhood, but great resaurants"
Pitt street is home to on of my favorite restaurants in Detroit, Three A Tasting Bar. This place is a small, cozy restaurant with excellent food as well as service. They have a very creative menu, and you are sure to find something that sounds good to you. There isn't much else to do on this street, and if you are not going to the Three a Tasting Bar, I would avoid it myself, because the neighborhood seemed a little bad.
Columbia St
"A great little street with lots to offer"
West Columbia street runs right past the fox theatre, so you know its going to be a good street. Besides the theatre itself, this street is home to some great places to eat, such as Da Edorao Town Grille, which has a great atmosphere, and good food. Also, theres the State Bar, which has great furnishings, as well as friendly staff and good food and drinks. Overall, West Columbia street is a great place to go for a night out, and I highly recommend it.
Woodbridge St
"A great little street with lots of restaurants"
Woodbridge street is a rather small street that is hard to access from the main road, but once you get off, it is worth it. One great restaurant on this street is Zoup Detroit, a local chain, that offers around 200 different types of soup! I only tried a few, but from what I did have, I can tell you that the food there is excellent, and the atmosphere is pretty fun as well. Another great restaurant on this street is Seldom blues, an upscale restaurant that is famous for their seafood and steaks. I tried swordfish myself, and it was very good, though slightly pricy for what you get. Overall, this is a great street to head towards if you are hungry!
Winder St
"A pretty nice little street, with some good restaurants"
Winder street is a small street that is home to a restaurant known as Butcher's inn, which serves great breakfasts at great prices. Another restaurant on this street is the farmers restaurant, which offers excellent food, as well as very courteous, and helpful employees. Overall, this is a pretty nice street, with nice restaurants, and I recommend it.
East Congress St
"A great, long street with plenty of places to eat."
East Congress Street is home to some of favorite places to eat in Detroit. One of these places is Greenroom Salads, which offers excellent salads, and courteous service. Another one of these places is the Zoo Bar nightclub. This place is a fun place to hangout for those over 21, and serves a great selection of drinks. Overall, East Congress street is a great place to visit if you are in the mood for a healthy lunch, or are looking for a good time on a friday night.
Waverly St
"A tiny street with a good coffee house."
Waverly street is hidden little street that features one great coffee house by the name of Darling's Coffee House. This place has amazing cheese cake, and great coffee, but the service is so-so. Besides this, there isn't anything else to do on this street, but the coffee house here is excellent, so I recommend coming here on the weekend or something. Otherwise, you can definitely find a street with more exciting places to go.
South 19th St
"A quiet street at one end, and a noisy one at the other, with two great restaurants."
South 19th street begins near RittenHouse Square, and ends near Logan square, so at one end of the street, it is quiet and peace, but at the other it s pretty noisy. On the quiet side of the street there are two great restaurants. One of theses places is Loie, which offers great burgers and a fun atmosphere. The second place is Rachael's Nosheri. This place offers some great deli items and great portions. Overall, the south part side of this street is great, with it's two restaurants, but the other end is noisy and often jammed with traffic, so stay to the south!
South 18th St
"A decent street with some great restauraunts"
South 18th street is a long narrow street with a few great dinner places. The first one of these places is Tria. This place offers a great selection of wine, as well as great sandwiches and sides. The next place is the Midtown III restaurant. This places offers great diner-style food and a fun atmosphere. The last place I would like to talk about is Pikkles Plus. This is a great deli with fast service that can get you your food during your lunch hour in great time. I recommend this street highly overall.
South 16th St
"A pretty nice street with a few things to do"
South 16th street is a narrow street with a bunch of fun little restaurants to visit. Firstly, the warsaw cafe is a great little cafe with a great coffe selection, and excellent food. Next, the Nam Son restaurant is a great vietnamese lunch place with good service and good prices as well. Lastly, La Citadelle cafe offers great starbucks-like coffee to go, as well as small bakery items. Overall, south 16th street is a nice little street, and I recommend it.
Atlantic Ave
"A decent little Street with a bunch of things to do."
Atlantic Ave is a crowded little street with a bunch of great restaurant to visit. One of these places is the Brooklyn Diner, which offers great food, good prices, and fun service. Another great place to go is the Flying Saucer, a fun little coffee shop. This place offers great coffee, and great desserts (the marble loaf is delicious). Overall, I highly recommend this Brooklyn street for a fun time.
Adelphi St
"A decent, quiet street with plenty to do."
Adelphi Street is a quiet street on which my favorite sushi restaurant in Brooklyn is located. This place is called Sushi D, and offers excellent sushi, and great service. Another good place to go is Red Bamboo, that is, if you are a fan of vegan food. The food is great, and the service is fun and helpful. Overall, I recommend this street to those traveling nearby, especially for the sushi.
Dekalb Ave
"A nice street, with tons to do."
Dekalb Avenue is a long street with at least twenty restaurants on it. My favorite place to go is Luigi's Pizzaria, as they have amazing pizza (perhapps the best in Brooklyn), and good service. Another great place to go is Mike's coffee shop. This place is a local favorite, and offers great coffe, and great service. Overall, I highly recommend this street to anyone who happens to be driving nearby.
16th St
"A rather long street with plenty to do"
16th street is a relatively quiet street in south brooklyn. My favorite place on this street is Java Indonesian Rijsttafel, an excellent restaurant with grand portions, friendly service, and perfect food. Another great place to go, for those about 21 that is, is Farrell's Bar and Grill. This is a some-what rundown place that has good, cheap beer, and decent food, as well as friendly and helpful service. Overall, I recommend 16th street for those looking for a fun night.
10th St
"A nice little street with two worthwhile cafes"
10th street is a narrow little street lined with trees that leads to prospect park. At one end of the road, there is a small coffee house called Lonelyville Coffee. This is a fun place with an upbeat atmostphere, as well as very good, and very rich coffee. The other place worth visiting on this street is the Tea Lounge. This place offers good drinks, completely free wifi, and decent service. Overall I recommend this street for rainy day when you feel like going to a coffee house.
Southeast 3rd Ave
"A little street with great places to grab a quick bite."
SE 3rd street is a small street near the coast, that offers some great, quick eateries. One of these places is iron sushi, which offers excellent (you guessed it) sushi, and great service. Another great place to go is offerdahl's cafe, which offers modestly priced food that can be ready for take out very quick. Overall, I recommend this street if you are on your lunch break, and or you just want to grab a quick lunch.
Southeast 12th St
"A fun little street with a bunch of great restaurants."
Brickell Bay Drive is a fun little street near the coast, that is home to a bunch of great restaurants such as the Ambassador Cafe, and Porcao Churrascaria. The ambassador cafe offers modest pricing, and good, fast food, as well as friendly employees. Porcao Churrascari offer excellent meat-based food, and good service. I highly recommend this street for those with an empty stomach and a craving for good food!
Southeast 1st St
"Small, congested street with decent restaurants"
se 1st Street is overlooked on both sides by skyscrapers, and is usually filled with traffic. There are a few small pluses to this street though. One is the Pollo Tropical restaurant, which has great prices, and pretty good food. The service wasn't that great though. The other reason is the Kaori Sushi express, which offers fresh, fast food, at good prices, as well as good service. Overall, I would not seek out this street, but if you ever come across it when you are in the mood for sushi, then it is ok I suppose.
Southeast 3rd St
"Very near the ocean, but not quite there."
Se 3d street is a quiet little road near the coast, and is home to a bunch of excellent restaurants. The first one is the Prime Blue Grille. This place serves Spectacular seafood, has great service, and offers you a small glimpse of the ocean. Another great place to eat is Il Gabbianno. This place offers great exotic food at decent prices, plus has nice service. I recommend the restaurants on this street if you are passing by with an empty stomach.
Southeast 12th St
"A short street with a great brewery, as well as a path to a great oceanic view"
Se 12th street runs between a bunch of skyscrapers, and ends with a great view of Brickell Bay. The restaurant that is located on this street goes by the name of Gordon Biersch Brewery, and features a great selection of drinks, as well as some great food. This place also if very friendly, and has a fun atmosphere, but as the name suggests, it is an adult place, and those under 21 will not enjoy it. I highly recommend this street for those over 21, and those looking for a great view of Brickell Bay.
Northeast 2nd St
"A busy little road cast with shadows from the nearby skyscrapers."
Ne 2nd street is the home of two great restaurants by the names of Emily's restaurant, and the red house cafe. Both of these places serve great lunch-food. Emily's restaurant has very friendly employees, and a fun atmosphere. The red house cafe wasn't nearly as friendly, but it could have been because they were so busy when I went there. I recommend this street to those on their lunch break, and those passing by looking for a good meal.
8th St Southeast
"Perhaps the smallest, yet most perfect street in Miami."
SE 8th street is a little road leading onto Brickell Island. The street itself allows drivers an amazing view of the bay. However, the main attraction that I wish to speak of is the Azul restaurant. This is a beautiful restaurant that is right on the coast, and consequently has a breathtaking view. Besides this, though, the food is excellent, and the employees are very friendly. I say this place is a must visit for those visiting Miami!
Florida Ave Northwest
"Short but sweet with one good restaurant"
Florida Avenue is a little road that crosses t street northwest. It is usually free of traffic, and has one great little restaurant called Nora's. This place's main plus is the quality of the food, which is mostly organic, and all fresh. The employees here are very friendly, and prices are great, considering the quality of the food. I highly recommend this little road to anyone who happens to pass by with an empty stomach, and a craving for fresh food.
Q St Northwest
"Wow, great street thats loaded with good restaurants."
The q nw street has tons of amazing restaurants available, my favorite being Floriana Mercury Grill. This place offers some really good food, though the prices are a little steep. The next great place is Annie's paramount steak house. This place has some of the best food around, with many excellent items and sides, and pretty good prices. These are only some of the restaurants on this street, and I highly recommend it to any passersby.
South St Northwest
"An Excellent street with tons of places to eat"
The s nw street is full of great restaurants, my favorite being the Thaiphoon thai restaurant. It offers amazing thai food, at pretty good prices, and a fun atmosphere. The next restaurant that I recommend visiting is Las Marias. This place offers some exotic Salvadoran food, which happens to be very good. THe employees are very friendly, and the prices are decent. Besides restaurants, this street also offers a route to the lovely Mitchell park. Overall, I highly recommend this street!
Elm St Northwest
"A tiny road with nothing to do, though there is one good place nearby."
When I passed through this street, I noticed pretty much othing special about, but after travelling west for a minute, I encountered an excellent pizza place known as Italy Pizza. This place has excellent home made pizza, and a fun atmosphere. The prices are very affordable as well, and I highly recommend it. As for the street itself, I recommend that you pas through and head west to Italy pizza, otherwise there is no point to it.
20th St
"Not much to do, but leads to an excellent view of San Francisco Bay"
There is very little to do on 20th street, and the one place that you can visit is not worthwhile. The place that I am reffering to is Cafe Gratitude. This place has very bad service, as well as a strange atmosphere that is uncomfortable to eat in. However, if you bypass this place and head east, you can reach the end of the street which allows you an excellent view of San Francisco Bay, which makes the street worth visiting.
14th St
"Home of a few great restaurants, but otherwise is just a sideroad."
This street is nothing special itself, but the Woodhouse Fish Company restaurant is definitely worth noting. This palce has some of the best crab in the city, and at decent prices as well. Also, if you are un a hurry, you can get food to go in great time too. Besides this place, there is the Mission beach cafe which offers some exotic main dishes as well as amazing desserts. If you are ever on 14th steet with an empty belly, I recommend that you visit one of these two places!
17th St
"Not too much to do on this street, but one excellent restaurant."
17th street stretches far across san francicso, but for all the distance there is very little to do. It does pass by the beautiful Franklin Square, but there is only one place worth visiting on it. This place is The Maverick Restaurant. This place is small and tidy, and serves excellent but simple food. The service is great, but the neiborhood isn't the greatest, as I have passed by some people that look pretty suspicious. If you are ever on 17th street, I recommend that you visit the Maverick restaurant, but otherwise just pass it by.
McAllister St
"This is a prett dull street, with very little to do but visit it's one restaurant."
Mcallister St. extends far into the west of San Francisco, but there is only really one thing to do on it besides drive on it, and that is to visit the Indigo Restaurant. This is a great place to eat with recently updated furnishings, but this doesn't make up for the lack of things to do. If you find yourself on this street sometime when you are hungry, I definitely recommend that you visit the Indigo Restaurant. Otherwise, McAllister St. is nothing but a long stretch of office buildings.
9th St
"A bunch of great places to eat, though it can be congested with traffic sometimtes"
9th Street is a long street filled with some great restaurants and cafes. my favorite restaurant is Schnitzel Haus because of it's calm and fun atmosphere, as well as excellent food. The somewhat nearby magic wok offer great food and prices, but not the best service, as the servers and cashier were not that friendly. The only downside to this street is that sometimes at rush hour it can be very congested with cars.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this street due to it's great variety of restaurants, though traffic can pile up.
