"Venice is a beachfront neighborhood on the Westside of Los Angeles"
Abbot Kinney Boulevard is considered the nucleus of the area, with retail stores, restaurants, bars and galleries lining the street. The “First Friday” of every month food trucks park on Abbott Kinney Boulevard and shops stay open as late as 11:00 pm. The artistic facade of many of the retail stores would be reason enough to stroll down Abbott Kinney; it is all very individual and unique.
Residential neighborhoods within Venice differ radically ranging from multi-million dollar homes to low income housing. If one is interested in living in the Venice Beach area, it would be important to work with a local Realtor or friend who is very familiar with the area.
