"COLUMBIA ST AND DELANCEY ST"

I worked on Columbia and Delancey st back in 1981 it was ok back then kinda dead area to be not that exciting.

  • nothing over there but a playground

  • not a place to be at night time
  • scary at night

"MADISON ST 1979- 1980"

Back in 1979 i started working on Madison st between Jefferson and Madison st back then and things was good i was working for NYC Dept of Parks in the Little Flower Playground i use to like the area back then they had a pizza shop on the corner which is now a drug store, they had a burger joint near the train station, i met some nice people back in those days, i know a lot changed since then but those was good days for me.

  • They have a hospital near by

  • it could get a little rough at night
