"A Different Grocery"

Lefferts Boulevard at the intersection with Metroplitan Avenue provides the best halal butcher in Queens, at least in my opinion. The meat is delicious and fresh, and there is every grocery you could need. Also, the location is perfect. Lefferts is right next to forest park and provides a beautiful landscaped view of Kew Gardens, full of greenery and mom and pop shops. There is an Associated grocery store close by and there are multiple restaurants. It is easy to smell clean living.

"Just off the Main Road"

Right next to Queens Boulevard this street holds the appeal of being away from the buzz without being too far from the action. Right next to Queens Center it has nice houses along with comfortable apartment buildings. There are trees and lawns, a refreshing state in Queens, and is an easy walk from the subway. This provides the comfort of living right off of the main road without any of the hassles of the noise or the danger.

"Fun In Astoria"

Everyone knows that Astoria is the place to go have fun, and Steinway Street is the best place to start. It is full of clubs and stores to get ready for those clubs. It has amazing food to start off the evening, the best right as you exit the train station. There is a huge party store, in case you want to bring the party home, and great jewelry stores if you feel like splurging.

"Back To Basics"

My favorite thing about Hillside is that there is a little India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. It is refreshing to see the native shops, the threading salons, and the restaurants. Any beauty regimen can be completed with a mininal amount of money. There a place, GGGGGGs, maybe there are more Gs, on Hillside and 169th which has a manicure and a pedicure for $13 Mon - Wed. Best manicure I have had. Threading is $4 and any shape is viable. Chicken and Rice is famous. Amazing place to visit.

"End of the Suburbs"

Sutphin Blvd shows a great variation in the stores it boasts. At the intersection with Archer Ave there is a LIRR station which is the first real point in the City of New York. There is a Duane Reade, KFC, and the intersection is littered with banks. This is where you get the subway to New York, or take the luxury of the LIRR or take the tour of Jamaica.

"Shortcut through Queens"

Utopia Parkway cuts through Queens north to south, providing a shortcut through Queens. Traveling through Flushing and Jamaica, along with Fresh Meadows, it boasts beautiful houses and pretty landscaping. It also is the route for the Q30 and Q31 buses which run almost the length of the street. Though it is a main road, it is not overly busy, and very safe, in an area that could easily be described as the suburbs of Queens.
