"huge bonus street"

While this is not much of a street it is still rather nice what truly makes this street is the Fairmont hospital. When i was taken here even for some minor things this place was awesome the care was great, the people were great, and they made my stay as nice as possible. I think this hospital was vastly underrated and as i am going into medical i would love to work here one day.

"Like its Name"

This was a fond memory of this place. As i recall it my friends and I decided that one night we would take a look at this street and find out if its name was actually true. Wow, because of how it looks out over an open area this is a prime spot for stargazing. Although unless you live here it might be kinda hard to come and see it.

"Very very nice"

This was a very nice built up neighborhood that was definitely the envy of the area. This street is full of gorgeous houses I would love to own someday. These houses were quite out of the price range of most of the people I hung around with. Although there were a few kids from school who lived here. This was fun revisiting this area and seeing how these houses are still just as awesome as they once were.

"Bad bad area"

While i didnt spend a ton of time here i remember this street very well. This was a bad neighborhood a very bad neighborhood. This was one of those places where if you were looking for trouble you found it here. This was a street we would always avoid when I lived here it was never worth the trouble of actually walking down it.

"has a Nice location"

While this was not the nicest street I do remember walking down this street with my friends every now and then when we felt like going to a park that wasn't so close by. What really makes this street is how close it is to McKinley Playground. As i remember it this was fun to walk down here and toy around in the park which is actually quite nice.

"A great neighborhood"

This was the street where I kid i knew from school lived on and it was always a very nice neighborhood. Such a great built up street. This is where alot of the people from this area wanted to live. It was enclosed and altogether just extremely nice. It would be really nice to move back and actually live here.

"Another nice street"

This was a street another friend of mine lived on while this street was less appealing than some of the other in the area due to the fact it was closer to some big buildings and was not as well built up it still was very nice. This street was also another place where I would meet up with friends where we would go to Siempre Verde Park and play around.

"Nice Walk with bonus"

Because this was the one street in-between me and my friends streets this was a very common meeting place for us. We would often walk down this street to the best part about it which was it led right into McCartney Park. This was the park where it felt like i spent a good half of my time in. We used to love to come here and play around.

"More and more memories"

When I lived in san leandro this was the street my best friend lived on. Him and I would always be back and forth between our houses. This was a very nice street as i recall it however if i remember it correctly it was more run down than sunnyside. It was still this was the last time i visited which was over a year ago.

"Ah the memories"

This when I lived in San Leandro was my old neighborhood and this was my street. The few years I spent here were awesome and very memorable. I would love to move here again if i ever get the chance. This was where i spent a few of my teenage years and met a few friends i still keep in touch with. This was a great place to live and grow up I just wish I had spent longer here.

"Awesome drive 2"

This is such a great place to take a drive just like Crow Canyon. I took a drive through here and while it has woods which are so nice to see as your driving but this also leads right into town. This is an awesome road that if your visiting come and take a drive, and if your a resident come enjoy one of the great parts about where you live.

"Nice nice wait eh"

This I thought was a very nice location much off the beaten path its pretty quiet and the surrounding neighborhood looks very nice. However. There is much to be desired here. The houses were much more run down than I expected. Now granted they were not very run down but hey this is castro valley and they did not meet standards this is why they got much lower marks that I thought they would at first.

"working hard in the city"

This as i see it would make a great street to live on for those who have to get into the city for work. while it has many nice quality parts to it, there are also the simple things that make this a great spot. The fact that it empties out onto a main road is awesome. Yet there is a quieter softer side to the neighborhood this street runs through. I though this would be a great place to live for professional people.

"Ah so relaxing"

If you live in this are or are visiting and need to take a walk to clear your thoughts (I did), then this is the place for you. Like it says in its name its got trees which is always nice for a walk, but this street has more than that it has a relaxed and refreshed vibe to it. Its hard to explain but as you take in what this street has to offer you almost begin to let things roll off as they dont seem important anymore.

"Had to say"

This was such a cute small little street I just had to talk some about it. This street was very secluded but not like how bad that can be in many cities. The kind of seclusion here is the kind that allows you to really relax. You have no street noise, few neighbors, and nature as your backyard. For those of you moving here look for an area like this where you can not only have the city but still live in a little bit of country.

"enjoy a good drive?"

This road was one I made sure i found my way too more than once. In my opinion it has to be one of the best places to just take a drive in Castro valley. There are actual creatures alongside this road. There are trees and real nature just alongside it. While for those of you who do not or have never lived in California dont see the big deal here. This is about as rare as snow here. come and enjoy a nice relaxing drive.

"cool surroundings too crowded"

This area is one of only a few that has the surroundings to make you feel as if you have passed out of the city and are in a whole new world so to speak. The surroundings are gorgeous as is most of Castro Valley. The one thing that made me upset with the layout was how close together the houses were. This made for too much of a city feel. While I love the city too this are could have been much more amazing if they had better laid it out.

"really just a shame"

While this street contains many beautiful houses it simple loses points because half the street had buildings for backyards. These buildings cause an otherwise nice neighborhood to look far to industrial very similar to the problem on Industrial. However I don't write the street off as a total loss the houses are nice and with a backyard like that the price is sure to be right.

"very very bleh"

As much a s I love the surrounding area this street was so boring a lifeless it just made me sad. A little bit of care on the part of the owners of these houses would make this a much nicer street but for now it remains the pathetic one that it is. I think this would be a shame to leave this street like this because it is in a decent location and the houses aside from looks did have very good structure.

"Wonderful Wonderful except..."

This was a nice street going through a very nice suburban area. This would be a wonderful place to live. The only real thing i didn't care for about this was the fact that it was way to overcrowded. There were no lawns which can be a real problem while I am a city boy and used to not having much of a yard its always nice to have a little something to mow.

"Needs Work but has potential."

This was a nice neighborhood full of nice people and some really nice houses but where this street went bad for me was the ugly menace that half the street has in their backyards. This area is a blight on the street and the neighborhood which makes this street lose some of what would be a much higher rating. I do say with potential because if this situation changes my thoughts would be better.

"just not up to standards"

While I am totally in Love with this area this street seemed very run down which was rather upsetting. Although there were a few nice houses the majority of what I saw was very run down. This street remains in my opinion a spot on the neighborhood although a simple fix all that this needs is a few cans of paint and some TLC and this could be as good as new. I just wish somebody would put this into action.

"A larger street but another winner"

This street was full of absolutely Gorgeous houses ones that I would love to live in. Although this area seems quite out of my own price range it is a wonderful place to live from what I can tell. The people are friendly the houses are nice and you are very local to just about anything you could want what a great place to live.

"Great street to live on"

While visiting my friend who lives only one street over I took one of my daily walks on this street and met a very interesting woman here one who I am still currently in touch with. I enjoyed my time on this street a lot and wish all other visitors the same luck i had here. As long as its not with the same person as I met.

I am thrilled about this whole area I loved every minute of my trip here and cant wait to go back this street had some very nice people living on it who were more than willing to help me navigate around the neighborhood and as i am quite avid about checking the real estate in areas and am quite the connoisseur of fine homes they also gave me details on where to find these things.

"Awesome Neighborhood To Live in"

This a wonderful street to Live on I have a friend of mine who lives in Hayward California and this was the street he lived on. I spent 2 weeks with him and got to know especially the area quite close to his house very well. This street, for starters, was shockingly quiet at night which i didnt expect being so close to 92. I thought I would be hearing a lot of street noise which I was relived to find out i did not. I enjoyed my entire stay here.

"Wow a train seriously?"

This was not a great street to live on in my opinion although it was pleasant to look at. The neighborhood seemed very nice upon first glance but what really sold my no on this street was while I was standing there a train flew by, it was very loud. Come to find out this is very common here and will be heard quite often by the residents that was enough for me by all means NO!

"noisy and ugly"

This was a street that lost all of my interest because of how close its located to the parkway. The noise that this street gets from being this close is enough to drive you crazy I dont know how people can live here. While i didnt spend much time here it was enough to drive me crazy. Also having the parkway in your backyard is a huge eyesore and a danger if you have kids overall this was very poor on my list.

"Nice and quaint"

This was a nice little quaint neighborhood that while very small and enclosed was also very charming. The houses here seemed smaller than the area's norm but also were very nice and you could tell that the owners took very good care of them. Especially the lawns were noticeable because of how well they were trimmed.

"Quite nice houses"

While the entire area has quite a few beautiful houses in it, I did notice there were many on this street. The quality of these houses some of them also quite large was very nice. I enjoyed walking down this street just to admire some of these fantastic built houses. Unfortunately I did not get a price range for these houses but if it it like the rest of the area its not awful but will require some time to save for.

"Possibly my favorite"

This street was quite possibly my favorite street in all of Oakland. While it is enclosed which is usually a no no for me in this case it worked perfectly. The enclosed nature of the street worked in its favor for privacy and quiet. The area was rather peaceful and seemed very nice. The houses were well maintained as were the yards. A definite top in my list.

"Unusual to Oakland"

I liked this street a lot it was well kept and the houses were appealing. The entire neighborhood seemed nice and open. I thought this seemed like one the nicer places in Oakland to live and would be a place id consider looking at. The neighborhood seemed to be full of friendly enough people who were willing to talk to the new guy in town and give tips on where to eat and stay. Overall a much better experience than most streets around.

"bad bad bad 3"

This was a terrible neighborhood like the other 2 so closely attached to it. I would stay away from this and the surrounding streets unless you truly know what you are doing. This entire area is far too enclosed for my taste and from experience that often leads to trouble. This was also a very run down neighborhood and not at all pleasing to the eye.

"Bad Bad Bad 2"

This was an even more enclosed neighborhood that would make even the biggest of tough guys think twice. I would not go here again and I only saw this street in passing. This street like a lot of this area was part of what makes me dislike Oakland. Areas like this are far too enclosed and makes me wonder why they were made this way in the first place.

"bad bad bad"

This was one of the streets that made me feel poorly about all of Oakland. This street was not kept up at all the entire neighborhood seemed very trashed. It was also in a corner which in cities usually does not bode well at all. I would stay away from this street if possible just not a great area for anyone but locals to be in.

"Nicer neighborhood and setting"

I thought this was a nice street that was fairly well kept up. This would be a street I would consider living on if I ever moved to Oakland (Not likely for various reasons read my other reviews). I thought the neighborhood seemed nice I was local to some decent shopping stops. I thought overall this was one of the nicer streets in Oakland, and I hope it doesn't become like most of the other local streets.

"Very nice improvement"

While I dont care for this area much this was another street that caught my attention while on a trip. While the area is not really pleasing, this street was rather nice. The yards and houses seemed better kept that most in the area This made the entire street much more pleasing to the eye. While i would still not want to live here Irving ave is definitely leading the way here.

"A nice step up in the area"

While I am not a fan of this area this street was surprisingly nicer than the nearby streets. Even though it intersects with E 16th, Mitchell street is quite nice and much quieter although the neighborhood still leaves much to be desired I would definitely choose this street above other local ones. Definitely a nice step up from the surrounding area.

"Too Much City Vibe"

I am truly a city boy i love cities a lot but again as i said in another review of an Oakland neighborhood this city is not too my liking, and this street portrays that perfectly. E 16th Street is a noisy overcrowded area that had way too many rough looking characters around for the average person to feel truly safe never mind comfortable. Obviously some of this is too be expected but even this city has much better to offer than this. The only thing that saved this street from a one star was Sanborn Park which is quite nice despite its location.

"Absolutely perfect spot"

I would love to live in this section of Alameda while the entire city does have its charm it was this section that really wowed me. The waterfront views are such a knockout. The area is kept clean and the real estate might surprise you with how low these prices actually are. I would be moving here in a heartbeat if I had the money. It was a charming wonderful neighborhood that I am renting a house in this summer. I cant wait to spend more time here. This would also make a great vacation home spot but I think you'll want to be here all round after you spend some time here.

"City but too much city"

While I am a city boy at heart and have lived in many many different cities this will never be one I add to my list. This was a horrible city (at least downtown). I thought it was too congested way too loud and wasnt eye pleasing in any way. This was a city in a very typical way. I planned to spend a while day in this part of Oakland enjoying all the city had to offer turn out I was ready to leave in just over an hour. This is one section of Oakland I wont be visiting again if I even go to Oakland. I just wasnt worth wasting my time Ill take NYC anyday.

"Exciting vacation spot"

I visited here while on one of my trips to california. I thought for a vacation spot this was fun and exciting. There were tons of amazing restaurants to choose from of which I tried quite a few all were awesome. The shopping was great although I am not normally into shopping that had some one of a kind shops that I felt was worth my time. I also thought they were a little pricey on many of thier items but on vacation I hardly complain about prices. I thought it was a great spot to have some fun just dont expect your pockets to be very full afterwards.

"Not at all Impressed"

I thought Union City was ok but this section as not a place I would waste my time. I thought everything here was overpriced from food to shopping to real estate. In my opinion it was very run down. This is not a place I would like to live or visit. When I spent a day in Union City I though this was the worst part. Definitely not worth wasting your time coming here. I certainly wasted far too much of mine here 5 hours I can never get back what a waste. Much better and very local areas around so take a drive and youll be amazing at where you end up around here.

"Rather Run Down Area"

I loved visiting this area of california but when I came to visit this area I was less than pleased. Fremont is a great city in my opinion but downtown is horrid. Sure there are some nice qualities to it lake Elizabeth I thought was charming. However where this area took a dreaded turn for me was it seemed to be filled with thugs. These people seemed to be hanging around all over the place. This made me and the people I was with feel very uncomfortable, I wish I had spent more time here but if it is the same as the last time I was here I dont foresee me spending any more.

"My Fond Memories"

When I lived In California One of the places i settles with my parents was in Willow Glen. I loved living here there was always a ton to do as a kid which was good. It kept me busy and got me out of the trouble id be in constantly if I was bored. I enjoyed the teachers in the schools in this area thought they were enjoyable and I dont have a ton of fond memories of school. I would love to live here with kids when I have them. This was an awesome neighborhood in Mountain View. I have always enjoyed looking at big impressive looking houses. This entire neighborhood was filled with them, so I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I would have liked to have spent more time here to enjoy the sight of more in the area, however what I did see was Gorgeous. "Cool and Modern"

When I made my long trip to California Palo Alto was on my list of stops. The city overall is amazing very fun and exciting with plenty to do. This section of the city was my favorite though. Although rather expensive the area is beautiful and very enjoyable. I enjoyed the restaurants and shops here was well as the many other attractions such as night life. Overall ventura is a great vacation spot to visit when in California. Although it can be a little loud so im not sure id want to live here. This made a great vacation spot but even putting the price aside I think living here would be too much for me to handle I like to relax a lot.

This is the best and most awesome neighborhood in Daly City Cali I loved my stay here. I thought overall the time in Daly City was amazing but this was the best neighborhood to stay in. I had my first few nights stay in a hotel, but after I got to stay with my friend and his parents in hillside. The whole neighborhood and atmosphere was awesome. "An Awesome City"

Taunton is a city I have lived in for over 10 years now. While not being the flashiest City Taunton has everything you could ask for. Taunton is centrally lacated to alot of great other towns as well, even Boston is only 30mins away with the traffic right. We have a little bit of everything when it comes to shops and restaurants. We have quite a few nice parks and places to go and enjoy yourself. The city is fairly well maintained, and its closeness to the highway and other major routes make it a great convenience to those who live here. As a younger kid we moved around quite a bit. It was here I first got to settle in to a city and I love it.

"Place to avoid"

On your list of places to avoid in San Mateo place this one. This place seemed to be in a rough neighborhood and was enclosed which made it to me seem dangerous. I walked part way in and got some bad vibes from the neighborhood and the characters standing outside the houses in it. I would stay away from here unless you are a local. Just wasn't worth it, not even that nice of a street.

While quite a bit of san mateo has water views this place is quite special. Something about the way the sunset and the view of the water combined made this such a beautiful place. This was when I visited a very run down neighborhood and seemed to be almost the slum of the area. "Great access earns high grades"

This was a nice pleasant suburban street with nice looking houses on either side of it. The neighborhood was pleasant and I enjoyed the walk down this street a lot. However this is not what earned this street such high marks. The street earns high marks because of location. Mission Drive is in a great location given how close it is to Central Park. "Only 1 Great thing"

This was a rather normal suburban street in redwood, the only thing that made it great in my childhood was it had the best baseball diamond in the city. In red morton community park was THE place to play baseball in redwood. Although it was often taken this was such a perfect place to play. This was a great street as kids to play on because there was little traffic, so other then with me on it it was quiet.

I hated going through this street which I was forced to do one day. It was noisy because of the highway. Enough to drive you crazy if you were unlucky enough to live here. The neighborhood seemed very run down and I thought that it seemed very rough. After talking with my friend he advised me never to go through again because of its reputation. Stay away.

"great views bad neighborhood"

When taking my walk down this street it was hard not to be stunned by the breathtaking sunset that you can see from this street. However I would not recommend for others to come down to this street at least at night the neighborhood seemed very rough at least when I went there. It is possible that this was a one time deal as the neighborhood did not look rough only the people I saw hanging around on it.

"Such Amazing Views"

The Views On this street of the water are amazing. I would suggest bringing a camera and stopping for a few minutes if your driving by. I did not get much for a feel of the people here, beacause I didnt see any on my walk. However the houses on the water looked amazing and I would love to come and visit this street again the next time im in seattle.

"Nice Quaint Street"

I enjoyed my walk on this street when I went there I spoke to a few of the residents and was even invited in. The people were so friendly and I have kept in touch with them this was a memorable street and seemed much like normal suburban area. I would love to go back as soon as possible. This was one of the best things I did in my trip to the bronx.

"No No No"

This was one of the worst streets I visited. This street is not only always overwhelmed with traffic noise from the nearby interstate but also was I what I would call a rough neighborhood. This was way too urban of an area and makes you think that the steriotypical Bronx might be right. I am a lover of the Bronx but its streets like this one that makes me think twice about visiting.

"Nice Views But..."

This Was a beautiful street as far as the views of the Bronx river. However This street also seemed to be full of some rough looking characters and was also close to many rough neighborhoods unfortunately not a place I would suggest to visit I wanted to be out of there as fast as I possibly could. Dont make the same mistake I made just stay away.

"Surprisingly nice and quiet"

I had a friend who lived on this street and I always thought i looked way too congested. Although the more time i spent here I realized why he liked it. I was crowded true, but It was also quaint. Hard to explain but I enjoyed my time here. It was surprisingly quiet which amazed me even at night. It was even quieter than providence ( I lived there) which amazed me. This is a great street to live on. Not much room for people with kids though.

"Business Business Business"

This street is small but it has more than its fair share of industry i found this street to be way to industrial for my tastes not a great place to live at all. I don't know how people can stand it. I had to drive through here on my way to a friends house and I thought the street was one of the ugliest I had seen on my summer trip to the Bronx. Now mind you this street i did not feel in danger but it was a sore to the eyes.

"Interesting to say the least"

This street although in proximity to many nice streets, at least the last time i was there, was full of many noisy people who would make this a very annoying street to live on. I found the people who lived here then to be rude and I would not want to live on this street anytime soon.
