"A Cozy Quiet Town"

Glendora is a small and friendly place to live. It seems that everyone in the surrounding neighborhoods want to end up in Glendora one day. In this area one can find quiet streets with fun and exciting street fairs every now and then. Being a Suburb of Los Angeles, residents have the option to make a short drive into the city, make a short drive to the beach, or make a short drive to the mountains for some local skiing. The nicest place to live with the nicest people, is what Glendora is known for. They live by the slogan “Pride of the foothills” and ought to because of the prime location this neighborhood is in.

"An up and coming neighborhood with a growing nightlife"

Downtown LA once brought a vision of questionable folks on the street and the hustle and bustle of weekday warriors. It should be known that the City of Los Angeles has recently put a lot of money into the restoration of Downtown LA. The LA Live area, by the Staples Center, home of the LA Lakers, is increasing its nightlife potential by housing many new restaurants, bars, clubs, and theaters. This in turn has increased the demand of decent, and now trendy, loft apartments. There are many buildings that are in the rehab process, as well as a few buildings that are being newly constructed. It would appear that Los Angeles is finally trying to regain the glamorous charm that it once had.

"A Canine-Friendly Yuppy Neighborhood"

Brentwood is a small and happy community centered around Barrington and W Sunset Blvd towards the west-end of Los Angeles. Its chief attractions include Barrington Plaza, a central post office location and the Barrington Recreation Center. Apartment and condominium buildings abound, nestled between reasonably quiet residential streets, houses and schools. Traffic is craziest during the usual rush hours in the early morning and early evening, so be sure to observe all lights and make eye contact with drivers before crossing the street if you're a pedestrian. Speaking of pedestrians, one can't seem to walk five minutes in any direction without running into a local resident walking a dog or two. The neighborhood is very friendly to canines, and you'll find many dog meetings taking place in the neighborhood building lots as well as park areas at the Brentwood Recreation Center. The population in Brentwood varies and you will find residents of all ages, although the majority of the population does lean more towards a college student, young professional or yuppy family mix. Compared to other neighborhoods, Brentwood feels very safe and somewhat enclosed. With so many apartment balconies and local store shop windows looking down on the street it feels like the neighborhood watch is always in full effect around here. Bring your dogs here for a walk or a run, you won't regret visiting healthy and vibrant Brentwood this weekend.

"An eclectic neighborhood by the beach"

Venice Beach is a great neighborhood which is probably best known as “Muscle Beach.” The neighborhood is a great mix of residential and retail space. A boardwalk filled with bars and restaurants lines the beach and provides great places to people watch as there is always something to see and an interesting mix of people strolling up and down. Venice Beach (modeled after Venice, Italy) has small canals and cute one lane bridges that cross them. It’s easy to wile away an afternoon shopping on Abbot Kinney. The galleries, shopping and restaurants in the area are wonderful, with unique boutiques and restaurants around every corner.
