Victory Blvd
"one of my least favorite places"
Victory Boulevard has always felt like the epicenter of my bad feelings towards Staten Island. It’s an ugly street, and you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the view while sitting in the epic traffic. The west side of the road comes to a weird, gated dead-end near Arthur Kill. I think there’s a lot nicer-looking ways to get around Staten, even if there's traffic on every single one.
Victory Blvd
"One of the main roads in Staten Island"
Victory Boulevard is very long, it actually crosses the whole island - from its left shore to its right shore. Victory blvd is a great place for food lovers, one can find a great amount of restaurants and cafes, besides it is great on shopping. There are really good shopping centers around that area. It is very busy street with loads of cars, but on my memory i don't remember when was the last time when the traffic stood still, although it is heavy - it always moves.
Victory Blvd
"Lots of Mom and Pop Shops"
Great places to eat - among the two best pizza places on Staten Island are across the street from each other - Goodfellas and Joe and Pat's. You will find a lot of independently owned shops on Victory, which (like Forest Avenue) is a major street in Staten Island. While Forest has a lot of corporate stores, Victory is more of a local feel.
Drawbacks - TRAFFIC! I try to avoid driving on Victory to another location, unless I need to make a stop on the street.
