Is Myers Corner a tight-knit community? Are there community activities?

Myers Corner has a decently-sized population and it's a little spread out, so it doesn't really have a tight community feel overall. There are definitely pockets of it where the neighborhoods feel more cozy and tight-knit, but it's not the sort of place where everybody knows everybody.

There are some community activities at Schlathaus Park at the intersection of Myers Corners Road and All Angels Hill Road. For example, I believe there is a 5K run starting there, there may be some outdoor music festivals and/or performances, and if I'm not mistaken, the Town of Wappinger holds some other activities there like the town Community Day.
