"Plenty of amenities for tourists, residents"

This is a great street for tourists. The street offers hotels, and is close to plenty of the neighborhood’s trendy shops and restaurants. If you consider yourself as part of the height of trendiness and you have plenty of money you want to get rid of, let yourself loose around here. It’s not exactly a utopia, though – beware the occasional discarded needle on the sidewalk.

"West 16th Street"

For me, this street wasn't that interesting and I was summarily unimpressed until I found a really innovative and hip Japanese restaurant called Matsuri. This street is mainly big brown faceless buildings, with likely some very expensive but very nice apartments inside. This would be a cool place to live and it is close to a lot of things, but I like streets that are a little prettier.

West 16th Street is close to the following metro stations: A, C, E, L at 8th and 14th Street, 1,2,3 at 14th Street. It is also accessible to many buses. Foot traffic is heavy, and it is a good neighborhood for all people!

"Good spot"

I've got friends who live in an apartment here. It's a nice spot, helped by the fact that they've got a top floor apartment with views of Empire State! Convenient for transport (the metro is around the corner) and also plenty of nice restaurants around the area. Plus you've got the added benefit of being 5 mins from the Meatpacking district.

Overall, great spot if you can afford it!
