"Confusing"

People who are not familiar with this area may not realize that Mosholu Pkwy bisects this street and it begins again on the other side, in Norwood. There is very little here on this side except houses, buildings, Harris Park Mosholu Pkwy, and the entrance to a subway yard.
Cons
  • Not much here
  • Street was designed in a weird way

"Street Splits at Grand Concourse"

I used to live in the area and when I went down 205th Street to reach La Cabana 2, and I was on the other side of the Grand Concourse. In other words, I was on the side that connected to the E. Mosholu Parkway. What an inconvenience. So in order to get to one side of East 205th Street to the other side, you have to jump barriers on the Grand Concourse, or go down so far on the Grand Concourse until you are allowed to turn left and then go across and then turn left to go back to East 205th St. Not a smart way to split a street.
Pros
  • Plenty of stores
Cons
  • Street was designed in a weird way
