"Quiet place for Upper East Side dwellers"

There are some restaurants on this street, though whether they are very appealing to a tourist is a question of what kind of tourist we are talking about. A restaurant way off the beaten track is Le Boeuf A La Mode, over toward the East River and FRD Dr. Residents of the neighborhood must go – it’s a romantic little place that constantly dishes out quality meals.

"East 81st Street"

The street itself was relatively unimpressive. French cuisine isn't my personal favorite of mine and I was not impressed with the Brasserie Julien. I don't know if it was because of my mood, but the street just seemed overrun with overpriced places ad many people with no culture or interest in anything much other trendiness. Feel free to go and make your own assessment but, I wasn't impressed.
