"Emerald Hills. Hollywood, Florida"

Very nice, upscale neighborhood. It consists mostly of large private homes, with some townhouses and condos. Most of the residents are professional married couples with children. The community is very Jewish and is heavily Orthodox. The neighborhood is located near I-95, which puts commuting to Miami and Boca Raton within range. Emerald Hills is on the upswing. Most of the older homes have been or will be renovated, and there is new construction on the fringe of the community that will bring in additional high-income, upper class residents.

  • Centrally located ih Broward county.
  • Very heavy S. Florida rush hour traffic
  • Adjacent to some not-so-nice neighborhoods
  • Very expensive - younger couples frequently priced out
